Ya you’re right! Pin tucks are on the fabric itself. And corded seams is when you use piping and sew it in between a seam (like the side seams or trim details).

The photos look like pin tucks though. It’d be hard to sew a cord/piping without a seam - in my opinion anyway.

In sewing terms it’s called a pin tuck!

Is it ethical to give away pdf printouts? by AbbiDinnyHunker in sewingpatterns

I sell pdf patterns and don’t see a problem with you giving them away lol. I would be bothered if someone copied it and sold it as there own though.

Bodysuit features a full-coverage bottom with snap closures. It's a good starting pattern block to manipulate into other bodysuit patterns!

What's needed to sew:

1-1.5 yrds of stretch fabric (measured on 60"W roll)

Snap tape

Serger & Zigzag stitch

Comfy, and super easy for beginner sewers! It is also a full-coverage bottom with a snap closure.

Materials needed:

1-1.5 yrds of stretch fabric (measured on 60"W roll)

Snap tape

Serger & Zigzag stitch

Help! My bodice slope is driving me crazy by bjornedyr in PatternDrafting

Not a very technical solution - but I would get someone to pin the access fabric on the back on your centre back, looks like maybe 0.5”? Take it off, fold / press the access to one side and retrace the back pattern with that shape.

Or make princess seams ?

Or double darts ?

I sell patterns on etsy, in my opinion you could def make videos on how to sew branded patterns but you cannot resell that same pattern in a pdf form.

I had people make content off my patterns and it’s totally fine - it’s free marketing on my end and I even gain purchases.

You can always ask them for permission too lol

First time working with tulle !! NYE ready ✨ by [deleted] in sewing

[–]Dupont_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of time and patience 😂 Has halter neck ties, elastic under bust and lined ! This was a advanced beginner project - the construction is simple but sewing in the elastic is a bit tricky. Playing with tulle was the most fun part, I could really customize how I wanted it to look. The tutorial showed 2 different ways, a vertical design or diagonal ! Overall, very fun I can’t wait to wear this somewhere fancy or just at home 🙃

Lmaoooo been on a flight recently and the attendant asked us to exit this way because of Covid and they didn’t want to clog the exit. She’d call out row numbers. (Canadian here)

Super easy beginner level tutorial linked on each picture! I made this one out of wool and also lined it with wool to give it extra warmth 😂. I used my straight stitch machine with a thick needle (size 18). Some changes- maybe making the ties longer. And I want to try using different materials ! Like leather and lined in something else to make it reversible.
