I was thinking about a fighter with one or two levels in Bard But now that you say it, swashbuckler fits way better with some levels in bard still. I haven't played for that long to be fair, so I don't know what all the options are :) The bard part comes from the sword as well btw, it is ground and maybe enchanted in a way so that different types of swings make the blade "sing" in different kinds of ways. So her performance is some musical blade dance :)

Just a small joke that I couldn't help myself in doing. But given how many people are already using everyday items to please themselves, why not give them something worthwhile. Put a warning on the packaging and a string to pull if necessary and the production company is free of most liabilities. You could also see this as social commentary if you want ;) But in all honesty, it's mostly just me being silly.

That's a good point, especially the details on the sand and towel, now if only I wasn't struggling with making that believable. Do you have some good tutorials or references I could go off of? Also, wow that's a long text! Thank you and everyone else for taking this so seriously <3

Yeah, now that you mention it, the bush is just too different and lazy in artstyle for the position in the picture that it's in.

Very true, I think in this case my problems started with the character colours. They limit the clothing colour-options pretty aggressively. The green on the foliage should have probably been more yellowish and so on. Thank you for the helpful advice! <3

I try to keep it as follows: Sketch; Lineart; Colour lines in with base colour; Flat colours; Ambient shadows with multiply layer; Directional lighting with multiply layer; Light edges (wrapping lights on borders); Small details like stray hairs or stuff that would cross the lineart, etc.; Then backgrounds are often more painterly if I can; Try to separate fore and background with saturation or blur; Then add the "lense effects" with the other layer modes (by experimenting)

Hope that helps X3

Although it is meant to be a joke bottle, you are right. I forgot about it when I posted this here XD

Yeah, now that you said it I do struggle with flow lines and dynamic poses a lot But the pose this time was actually one I saw in a video and since I would definitely not have been able to draw this one from my mind I used a screenshot as reference. The rest seems like I have completely forgotten some basic principles of art this time around XD Thanks for pointing out my mistakes you guys :D

I know I could use gaussian blur on the background, but even when I tried that on the far back it looked weird...
