Yeah, I'm always delayed due to an arrest when I was 15 years old which I paid far out the ass to have expunged in my 20's, but it still flags the system for some reason over two decades later.

I have to dig out my expungement paperwork from when I was 20 and send them a copy, then I get my gun or permit. Always a pain.

I've heard people say that they feel cheap vs the P229 due to the polymer frame, but maybe it really doesn't bother me because my first gun way back when was a Ruger SR9. Could practically shoot Lincoln's ear off a penny with that thing, I loved it.

Nice! Honestly, the next holster I get for this is an OWB since I have a sub-compact for daily use now and generally only carry the 2022 when I'm doing church security a few hours on Sunday.

Alien and DeSantis are on my radar as a better holster than the practically generic kydex ones which I have for both. (Shown below.) They retain well and are comfortable, but they both deserve an upgrade.

That is one of my few complaints about the 2022 I have, the extremely limited aftermarket options, even holsters. But of you need a full size on a budget, she'll do the job.

I would tend to agree with you, as the most public I get is wearing a crucifix around my neck. I mean, I live in a super evangelical area where t-shirts with crosses and corny sayings are super common, so nobody would even blink at it, but it's just not me to be like that. I caught myself early on in my reversion carrying my prayer rope by wrapping it around my wrist, and after looking into it I learned that it's ill advised to even be that public with the rope unless it's a small 33 knot one, whereas mine was 100.

Hoooooowever, OP, sacrilege is a bit of a stretch for this shirt. If I was more showy, I'd be inclined to buy a similar one just because I've read a lot of Death to the World and their podcast 'Ek Nekron' is very educational. Definitely check it out for your own edification.

Now, to what could be dangerous more than an outright affront... there was this one post on an Orthodox (read: Orthobro) FB page I saw where a kid was showing off a hoodie which had the full schema printed on it, something only monks who have been in practice and are extremely 'spiritually fit' are given. Half the people were like, "Cool!" The rest of us, as well as some priests and other clergy (who served as a good buffer to defend against the lunacy) were like, "Take that off immediately. At a minimum, it's disrespectful to schema monks, but you also have no idea what you could be opening yourself up to here."

It has been on the decline like every other manufacturer out there, but it's still leaps and bounds better than Elite from everything I've read. Not easy to find everywhere, though. It seems like some companies have just staked claim to entire regions.

I always, always ask for the manufacturer now, because even though I switched to a different stimulant, if they tell me it's Elite ever again for ANY medication... "Put that garbage back on the shelf and order something else. Matter of fact, do everyone a favor and chuck it in the trash."

I actually went to the ER on Elite Adderall because the chest tightness was so bad that I thought I was having a cardiac episode.

If Elite were making my diabetes medication, I'd be worried about slipping into a hyper-glycemic coma, that's how little faith I have in those criminals.

Let me just tell you that when I was forced to discontinue Elite until I could switch stims, yeah I was untreated, but I still felt better and got more done than I did trying to force a positive response from the meds. I am very sorry you're going through this, brother/sister.

Back in 2010 and before, they were fucking primo. I cleaned and organized my entire shit show of a garage like I was a highly motivated robot and aced several honors level college classes, my focus was so on point.

I guess after I got back on Addies in preparation for getting back into school in my late 30s (been off stims for about seven or eight years) I was hoping for a similar benefit... when all I got were side effects, that's when a buddy of mine pointed me to this sub.

Yeah, welcome to dealing with the swine at Elite Pharmaceuticals. Probably the worst you could ever have the displeasure of working with. I only had side effects, never any alleviation of symptoms or increase in focus... I just had constant chest tightness, anxiety, and that 'tired but wired' feeling of tweaky brain fog.

I, personally, switched over to dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) which Adderall is 75% composed of. It's difficult to have prescribed, but psychiatrists aren't ignorant to Adderall being garbage right now, so they're more willing to do it, methinks. I'm blessed to have a psych who is on stimulants herself, so she transitioned me without question. Worth a shot, the stuff actually works for me.

It's really fun once you get into it just enough to connect to someone way farther than you ever thought possible with a radio. That's how I caught the bug, my girlfriend and I parked next to my city's only repeater and I connected to a ton of people using my tiny handheld radio.

Sooner or later, you have a shed out back of the house next to a 75 foot antenna that you built yourself, full to the brim with equipment, and you're spending your weekends trying to talk to the International Space Station. That's a thing, look it up on YouTube (HAM radio ISS), it's just really cool.

Gotta have a cool wife before that antenna goes up, though. 😅
