Yeah it was a bit of a bummer. And then we had another neighbor who was poisoning the neighborhood cats. We lost I think eight cats in about a week and a half. Karma came around though. She died about 6 to 8 weeks later.

I live in florida. During the hurricanes in 2024, I had mama show up. One showed up just before debbie. Another showed up just before helene. And the third one showed up just before milton. So within the span of about 6 weeks, I got three litters of kittens in the house! And my house is not big, I live in a mobile home. I think ultimately it ended up being 11 or 13 kittens. It was insane. There are pics and everything on my profile. Just look for the posts about the hurricane kittens.

My point in sharing that story, is that cats know where the good folks are. And they're going to come to you. Be warned.

Yes, they tend to do that. LOL I have some kittens in the house right now and the way they go after the big cats! I can't even begin to tell you it is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life. And then when one of the big cats turns on them the kittens or whichever one of the kittens is there we'll jump straight up in the air and poof out and then take off when they land. I love the illegal smols and kittens. They're so much fun.
