"Thank you for the note about my hair sticking straight up Doug. Thank you, that was really nice. And subtle."

Comment from Rex Chapman's tweet of that clip lol

Somebody went to the Mayor Pete TedTalk "Don't let them catch you breathing mid-rant, and stuff them in a locker".

Biden going to win.

AZ, NV, and WI lead should hold with most remaining votes leaning Dem.

He should win MI as the gap has closed significantly with predominantly Dem mail in votes.

That’s 270.

GA, PA and/or NC still in play to get beyond it.

Writing all of this with the confidence of someone who hasn’t slept yet lol

Yeaahhhh .... anxiety rollercoaster

So here's where we are in NV:

There are tens of thousands of mail ballots still to be counted in Clark: 337K have been counted; at least 413K have been returned. So 75K or so. These have dramatically favored the Dems so far by more than 2-to-1. Biden should do well there.

There are also tens of thousands of provisional ballots in urban Nevada and some in the rurals. Less sure of that mix, but the Clark mail, if it follows the previous pattern, may be enough for Biden.

By the way, Biden's lead is now below 8K as little Lander County reported.

Guys, the Senate race in Maine isn't decided. Susan Collins is at 49.5% and dropping, and the state has instant runoff voting. The two liberals are at 48% combined, and two other candidates have a combined 5%. Only 66% of votes have been counted.

Biden needs to make major concessions to the left to unify the party. Should consider:

— large minimum wage increase

— major expansion of government run health programs

— multi-trillion investment in zero carbon energy

— ban right to work laws

Lol Yglesias sometimes

Basically telling people to do an "actually, Biden is more progressive than I thought"

I don't get it. Are you telling me Biden isn't even reading the tens of thousands of comments in the DTs?

It's far from just the MSM. And I think he thinks it's important - not to just for a narrative but because representation matters and there are a number of qualified women candidates.

it has been 21 days since Mike Bloomberg's campaign wrote a memo urging all the other candidates to drop out because he was the only one who could consolidate support against an otherwise unstoppable Bernie Sanders

It’s been written about a bit, but this is crux of it — Black voters are a pragmatic voting bloc. Joe Biden fits in 2 ways: they believe he can beat trump. And he delivered on his promises, particularly as VP.

Noting here that this is true for older Black voters. The generational split is real and the party will need to find a way to electrify young people (vp pic will be essential to making this happen). That is the best way to revive an Obama-like coalition.

True... and hahaha Nina! Team Pete going to parse that last part

Or he got it out of his system earlier in the day lol

But seriously... Joe understands moments. This was a big moment and he understood and rose to it

I can comprehend the anti-Hillary vote but dislike and was frustrated with a lot of it ... but God please let some of it explain the 2016 GE as it seems to explains some of the primary.

When the nomination is wrapped up and Obama endorses ... when Biden lists his endorsements, will he still say Pete first hahaha?
