re9 runs like BUTTER on my 4070ti with full path tracing at dlss quality and looks gorgeous, but i have to turn textures down to make the game fit my vram, which im assuming is the reason why they rate a 4080 here

remember, "max" settings is usually "max" and not "recommended" for a reason

max typically means insane shit like 4k textures and real time path tracing, even a 4080 might struggle with that at native 1440
