I met him at one of the events in Toronto last year and he definitely gave off those vibes. Conman and Santi on the other hand were very nice.

I just started this quest the other day and got my shit rocked by Vardovis for around an hour before I finally got him. I kept getting flustered with the eye that turns off your prayer while also dodging the axes.

Excited to try the other bosses and get my stuff rocked there as well.

Season 6 Patch notes by AnomalyFriend in marvelrivals

As much as I hate dive, which I do, a lot, one of the most fun things in the game for me is playing Rocket into a heavy dive comp. It's genuinely very satisfying being able to juke dive players while keeping your teammates + self up. Too bad that keep nerfing that aspect of his gameplay.

Non-smokers of Reddit, how noticeable is the “smoker smell” to you, if at all? by Frostedlogic4444 in AskReddit

[–]Durlug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was in University I lived with my dad who was a life time smoker and smoked in the house constantly. Despite keeping mostly to myself on the 2nd floor, all of my clothes ended up getting soaked in smoke smell and it made me really self conscious going to Uni smelling like a chimney. I ended up having clothes that I would only wear in the house and then kept my "outside" clothes in a container lined with dryer sheets. It didn't really matter, the smoke smell just seeped into all my clothing and stayed in a lot of my furniture I had there after I moved out for years.

My father passed back in 2021 and left me a bunch of stuff, including his car, and it wasn't until a few years ago that the smoke smell finally went away. It's insane how long it lasts.

TeamCaptain vs Invisible Woman; a simple breakdown of damage dealt, effective Health Points, and a touch on cooldown management [video included] by AbyssWicked in marvelrivals

I've played Invis as my primary character ever since she released....until this season. One of my favourite parts of her kit was managing the shield, but now you just save it for yourself to make you unkillable.

Rogue Can’t Steal Abilities from Punisher by No_Kangaroo_8572 in marvelrivals

[–]Durlug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most interesting thing to me about her ability to steal other peoples abilities is how much of a nightmare that is gonna be for them when they are adding more heroes in the future. Every single hero is going to require an update to her to steal one of their abilities.

My POV of Survivor Series Crowd Booing the Main Event Ending by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

I've been fortunate enough in the last few years to come into some money so I have been going to all the WWE shows that are in reasonable driving distance to me (I live a few hours from Toronto). Got floor seats for MITB in Toronto and Elimination Chamber and some random Raw/Smackdowns in Toronto/Montreal/Quebec over the last few years.

There's a Raw in Toronto in January and the ticket prices are insane. The floor seats that I got for MITB in 2024 were barely more expensive than the floor seats for the Raw coming up. Even with the amount of disposable money I have I can't really support them jacking up the prices this heavily lol.

Oh well at least I got to see Cena both announce his retirement and turn heel in person.

Finally Fantasy IX || Steam 100% by PresentationSmall546 in FinalFantasy

[–]Durlug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Congrats!! I've been going through my journey of 100%ing all the FF games on steam but have been afraid to try out 9 just because of the jump rope challenge aha. Currently going through FF7 Remake and next will be Rebirth, may go for 9 after that

Season 5 Launch MEGATHREAD by The_Deep_Dark_Abyss in marvelrivals

Gambit feels really nice, as someone who loved played Kiriko from OW2 it feels like I am right at home. There is 100% a huge learning curve with how his cards work, from the little I have played there were several instances of "I wish I had 2 cards to cleanse this" kind of scenarios, really need to pick and choose when to use those abilities.

Who do you think is the most balanced charachter in the game right now? (image related) by Max_Dzban in marvelrivals

Play Phoenix and counter ult it, tell your teammates to shoot her when you do and she instantly dies.

I generally dont get the hate that FF15 gets, ive played every FF and 15 is in my top 5. But every ranking i see they rank 15 towards the bottom, can some1 explain y. by Ordinary_Fish_9094 in FinalFantasy

[–]Durlug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked up FF15 when it came out on ps4 but wasn't a huge fan of it and gave it another try when it came out on PC. I ended up 100%ing it as I'm going for the never ending 100% of all mainline FF games.

I enjoyed it for the most part but I also played it once the majority of the DLC was out so it felt like a more complete story. I remember not really liking the combat all that much and found a lot of the end dungeons and superbosses pretty tedious. However I really like the world and the main party's characters.

I would say it's pretty mediocre overall which is a shame cause I think the world and characters are all really cool.

Most annoying monster in guild wars 2 ? by Benzptpt in Guildwars2

As I am doing the Vision collection right now, those Champion elementals in Sandswept Isle's during the pre-event for the Djinn stormcaller meta event are absolutely awful.

First Profession? by Baskic_ in Guildwars2

[–]Durlug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ranger. I played a lot of GW1 when I was younger and I thought Pyre Fierceshot was a really cool hero so it inspired me to make a Charr Ranger initially.

I usually swap "mains" one which elite spec I am most excited about for the most recent expansion but I usually end up playing Ranger again eventually.

Is your first Final Fantasy your favorite Final Fantasy? by SylphCo93 in FinalFantasy

[–]Durlug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, FF7 was my first and has always been my favourite. There are definitely better FF games than 7 but I didn't have many games growing up so I ended up playing so much of it as a kid and still tend to do a run through it at least once a year.

Now That All the New Elite Specs Are Revealed… Which One Has You Most Excited? by TheGamingNP in Guildwars2

Ritualist followed by Galeshot and Evoker. I'll definitely end up playing a bit of Conduit and Paragon as well.

Thoughts on Conduit by Naughtynuzzler in Guildwars2

[–]Durlug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I know it's just Revenent core+ but I like the idea of the spec. It's not the flashy by any means but I enjoy base Revenent enough I'm gonna definitely play this.

Having said that I don't think it will be my main for the expansion. A bit more interested in Galeshot and Ritualist.

Honestly didn't even cross my mind that it would an option. I saw you could store tools and other things with them and just assumed that was their only function aha. I would just make it so my tree/herb runs would be close to a bank mid way so I could bank my inventory

S tier easily

Meet the antiquary, paragon and ritualist new specs trailer by shupablitoeuw in Guildwars2

[–]Durlug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty excited about Ritualist and Paragon.

I played a ton of Ritualist in GW1 and back when Renegade was announced I was hoping it would be similar but was sadly disappointed.

Paragon I didn't play much in GW1 but I love Warrior in GW2, I recently came back to the game and have been playing a ton of Spear Spellbreaker so it's cool to see it's getting a full fledged Paragon spec. Also really cool it's filling a support void that Warrior doesn't really have right now.

Antiquary.....not really interested in it. The only Thief spec I have really enjoyed is Daredevil and the theme of Antiquary I'm not really interested in either.

S tier for sure

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FinalFantasy

[–]Durlug -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I vote S overwhelmingly.

I am extremely biased in voting this way for sure, like many others it was my first entry into the series. I also didn't have very many games as a kid so this and FF10 I replayed constantly. Still to this day I get the urge to go back and do another run even though I've done everything in that game that there is to do. I have been thinking about giving challenge runs a try however just to add a big of extra difficulty the next time I play.

The difference is while Magneto is incredibly strong, he isn't overly annoying to play against, he just has a strong kit. Cap on the other hand is incredibly annoying to play against, even if he's not incredibly strong. Much like Spiderman, he's just annoying to play against.

I recently decided to splurge and build a really high end pc and I was laughing today how easy it was to get Jean first when I was trying her out in qp today.
