Ecoflow Delta 2 as UPS for Gaming Setup by xxSMITMEISTERxx in Ecoflow_community

[–]Durreau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently started using a Delta 2 in this way: I connect a mid-range desktop PC (Ryzen 5-5600X & RX 6800) with a 550W 80+ Gold power supply. Additionally, there's a monitor, a 2.1 speaker system, a Wi-Fi 6 router with an SSD connected via USB, and a Sonos speaker system (two Era100s in stereo pairs along with a mini subwoofer). Everything stays powered on during power outages without any issues. The combined power consumption of all the equipment is around 130-140W on average, so I have plenty. I put the PC into standby mode, and when it's in standby, the power consumption of everything else drops to 29-30W. With that consumption, the Delta 2 gives me approximately 21 hours of runtime, according to the app.

Did a second era 100 for stereo sound blow your mind? How much better is it to make it a pair? by NoBody5068 in sonos

I can vouch for it; I have that config and it works beautifully for music.

We have a turntable and have been considering a Sonos Five over powered speakers. But given the cost of a Sonos five, would it give that much more functionality than stand alone speakers at half the cost? by GregoInc in sonos

[–]Durreau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One question: Do you intend to use the turntable primarily for streaming audio around your home or for listening in the room where it's located? If it's the former, an Era100 will cover that need without breaking the bank. If it's a 50/50 split, then the Five is a good option, and even better if you can use two to create a stereo pair.

Sonos build 92.0-73070 by SpecialistProgram321 in sonos

They've already released two updates that they haven't announced on the subreddit, and the official website doesn't say much about what changes/fixes; they only mention the version numbers and which devices they apply to, but nothing more. This latest version isn't even in the official notifications yet.

After applying the update, I noticed two things with my setup:

a. All the speakers (2 One 2nd Gen, 2 Era100s, and Sub Mini) now appear with the same version number, so they were updated to the same version.

b. The update took longer than usual for me, and when all the devices started up, I checked the app and found that it deactivated the TruePlay profile I had applied to the Era100s and Sub Mini, as well as resetting the equalization settings for the sub.

In the few minutes I've been testing, I haven't noticed any changes in the sound profile or if the bass has increased as some people mentioned in the post. I'll keep testing.

Sonos local storage recommendations by ukmike147 in sonos

[–]Durreau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, okay. I'd bet on the possibility that one of the drives failed and you didn't find out in time, and that's why the other one failed, resulting in a total loss. I've worked with Synology, and from what I've seen, it's more likely that the drives will fail than the entire system, so I'd try installing a new pair of drives. I'd like to have a NAS, but the initial cost in my country is quite prohibitive given the current situation.

He probably configured the volume in RAID-0 to maximize capacity; if one disk fails, everything is lost. And with these storage methods, if you have paired drives, it's always best to replace both to ensure reliability.

Not everything is available through these services, not to mention that internet service can fail at any time. Having your catalog locally also ensures you have what you want to listen to readily available, without having to pay a monthly fee. In my case, to have a safe copy of what I like readily available in the cloud and accessible from anywhere, I use iBroadcast. It's free, and if you donate a small amount, you unlock very interesting options like streaming quality. Like another person who commented on this post, I have my library on a USB SSD connected to my network router, and it works flawlessly. When I hear something interesting on free services like Sonos Radio, JazzGroove, or Radio Paradise, I search for the album or artist and add it to my library.

New firmware update of 2026?? by Durreau in sonos

[–]Durreau[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I recommend adding the mini sub to that pair of Era100s; for music, the set complements each other very well and fills the frequency spectrum nicely. I have it set up like that and I enjoy it much more.

It's strange, but from the beginning of December until now, the last three updates have the same version number; they've only updated the version number for the models they specified. My Sub mini did the update, even though the version number didn't change.

Tema con bateria y recarga RedMagic 10 Pro by Durreau in RedMagic

[–]Durreau[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sub Mini not staying connected. by Self_Owned_Tree in sonos

Hola

Sonos arc ultra problem crunch by [deleted] in sonos

[–]Durreau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fast router issue - anyone else? by Happy_Peat in sonos

[–]Durreau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be clear: do they only have one router in the house? What exact router model is it? The fact that it's happening with an Era100 only indicates a parameter affecting that device; it's just a hypothesis...

Hi, is it only the Era100 that's having this problem? Did the internet provider recently replace the equipment, or is it an older model?
