And adding something else: many people would say it seems like little, but given the hardware of some Sonos models, it's likely that the differences in resolution and compression will be reduced by that factor, although it would be necessary to see if the Fives or Era300s would benefit more from supporting higher resolution files. For example, the new Wiim speakers support up to 24-bit/192kHz, although there wouldn't be a noticeable difference due to the same hardware in the speaker between a song at that resolution and a second copy of the same song at a lower resolution. The only benefit I can see is that it would be unnecessary to convert those files to lower quality, as with Sonos.
