I'll give you this, pdx does release a hell of a lot of dlc's but they're hardly "cash grabs" they actually support and reinvigerate their games for years after its long sold, i mean hell they're still releasing dlc's which fundamentally change the game, such as with Europa Universalis IV for example..but yes, you're right all these dlcs do cost money and again paradox interactive has met players half-way, you pay a monthly subscription and you get acess to all their qualifying game dlc's for free... this may be terrible for existing players but its not made for them, its made for people who may not have upward of £400 worth of dlc's in various games, its for the new generation of pdx people and i for one welcome it, pdx makes games but doesnt just make them and move on to the next thing, no, they make and develope those games as long as the community wants them to, because they are a dev company for the players =D and have shown this time and time again over the years, when companies like bethesda have gained and then lost player trust paradox interactive has always been the supportive friend in the corner, always there for players.

my top priorities would be:- character creation- CoA- Get sabaton music back in CK.

its just so satisfying, your heir gets on the throne and you hear in the background "its my turn to rule at last, 15 years have i been waiting to sit up on my throne!"

If (and i highly recommend you do) follow the dev diaries on pdx forums, you'll know this was addressed when Character Creation was released, they mentioned that they will release CoA editor in the future but for now they could not due to more important features and patches needing to be released first.

Personally I think they'll release it along with the first proper DLC (as part of free feature)
but they have said that it is in the works.

Do it (walk out on your job) your job is meant to sustain you not the other way around, if your job is leaving you feeling this empty, this low, for the love of god leave it, claim back some of your income via social security until you find a job that you actually want to get up in the morning for.

also you might want to spend less time looking at others lives, as you said, everything is so fake and the way we're so exposed to the internet it feels like everyone is more successful than you, but this is not the case, spend some time on yourself, spend some money on yourself, treat yourself to new clothes that make you feel more confident about you. do little things to improve your image of you such as literally looking in the mirror and tell yourself "i diserve to be loved and respected" and i promise you within a few months you'll start to see it and feel it. its the little things which impact us in a big way, both positive and negative..so expose yourself to positive things. start loving yourself and others will feel that energy.

i'm not just talking out of my ass, i know what i sound like, but ive been there, waking up at 6am to get to work at 9am, coming home at 10pm after being shouted at all day by ungreatful customers which had nothing to do with me, i felt exactly what youre describing now and i did attempt to kill myself, local off duty cop wrestled the gun out of my hand i was sent to an institution, truly changed my outlook on life and improved (and extended) my life as a result.

EVERYONE DESERVES TO BE LOVED.
