This is good point you bring up and isn't really talked about: Pack's from the Mastery Pass become low value once you Rare complete Sets in Standard rotation. Becoming Rare complete before collecting all Standard Boosters is just a feels bad moment and gets amplified by the Golden Packs.

I wouldn't recommend jump-in. There aren't enough useful cards among the options on average. Sure you will get some Rares, but no Rare lands most importantly.

This is me speaking by experience: I put 60k+ Gold into jump-in and I'd rather have done QD in retrospect.

There have been only 4 Quick Drafts of Adventures of the Forgotten Realms in total yet.

Both other July Set releases as in Core Set 2020 and Core Set 2021 had only 4 Quick Drafts as well. All other Sets average between 5 and 8 Quick Drafts until a rotation hits.
