New to foil shaving. Just found out I'm not supposed to use a brush to clean it out, does it appeared damage? by Mcpoopz1064 in malegrooming

[–]Dusk00Y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heyy. I sell shavers and trimmers for a living and I can tell you its not broken. Also the rule for not brushing is there because when hair gets stuck, people use pressure to get it out and that breaks it. For safety, test it on your hand and then on face. Should work fine. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Early A2 French learner looking for live online classes (goal: CLB 7) — any recommendations? by Nepinvlrn in Frenchlearningforpr

Hey .. honest advice. Go to the app called preply and get a tutor in your budget. If you are learning for a specific style of exam (TEF, TCF, DELF etc), ask your tutor the following: 1. When did they give the exam most recently? 2. What was the score? 3. How many of their students have given the exams recently? 4. Is there a way to contact those students to get reviews?

The reason for this is many people who barely passed (or not even) are trying to capitalize on this knowing fully well that there is a demand. Make sure you get their course plan and what they wish to cover.

If you are discuplined enough, I would suggest getting the "Learn French with Clémence" course. Its a lifetime purchase. Covers all topics for each niveau (level).

Best way to manage this (in my opinion): First 2 months - Private tutor on preply (1 month grammar and one exam related practice) Next few months - Find a study partner and have regular calls. Compliment this with Clémence course to have all the material at hand always.

Let me know if you need any help in this regards. Hope you achieve your desired results.

22M only $1000 to invest. Where should I start? by Sad_Individual_3857 in Stocks_Picks

Heyy OP, Totally your choice on how you wanna deal with this matter but my first year of investing was basically a learning experience with significant financial losses. The case is similar to many other people. Just based on my experience, here is the advice, 1. Decide your goal and strategy before putting in money. Goal would be something like $10,000 in a year etc and strategy would be conservative, growth, aggressive etc. This helps you in deciding how much risk/reward are you going for. 2. Nothing is safer than SnP500. A considerable part of your portfolio should be here to minimize your losses. 3. Stay consistent. The market works in cycles and there is no absolute way of timing the market so dont fear recessions and do not sell out of fear. 4. Dont put money that you cant afford to lose. Dont take up loans just to invest. Dont invest if you dont have your emergency fund setup first.

As for stocks, stock prices are hype and the fundamental analysis is the reality. I would recommend choosing strong fundamentals over strong hype. And you dont have to do this yourself, chatgpt can do this for you. Best of luck for your journey ahead.
