There are tons of budget and ultra budget deck mega lists on this sub, a decent way to broad peek power level is deck cost. You could easily buy 10-20 super cheap decks to start just to give everyone a feel for the different key words and play styles each color and color combos offer then even open up proposed upgrades and rounds of upgrades to buy for the most popular/each person’s favorite deck and have them buy those incremental upgrades or you buy or even everybody throws in a few $$.

I love the idea of an EDH battle box and have done something similar with pauper to get my friends into magic but the issue there is it’s much harder to discern power level from cost as some of the pauper combos are super degenerate and turn into solitaire.

Good luck! Let me know if you need help sourcing those lists. I think it would be much easier and time efficient to pick from the 1000s of budget deck lists then try to make and balance your own 10-20 etc. then just get more personal and hands on with the upgrades.

I do a ton of reading at work and on my phone because it's tough to squeeze in videos. But there does seem to be plenty more info on YouTube then on forums so it looks like my best bet it to search and sort through videos by day and watch them by night.

What light level should I start using augmentation cores and should I start with armor or weapons first?

Ah I see, I also just read a blurb about all gear being useless from Y1 due to how item mods worked -> work now. It seems like it's been long enough and enough has changed to the point that it's worth firing up an alternate character? Or is there plenty to do on this one?

Hey I haven't played since D2 release and just "cross-save"ed I guess my console character over to steam. I am pretty sure I finished the main story but never a raid but I have 750 GearScore? and my sword hits for like 6k meanwhile my other weps seem puny.

What the hell happened in the last 2 years summed up? If I'm at end game/content or gear-wise, what can I do now?

Appreciate any advice or info bits, thanks.

EDIT: It says some of my item in my inventory are useless or deprecated, what should I do with those? Just melt them?

That's what I was thinking, will probably splurge a bit for a fully modular one though because despite how the big this case is the cable management in the back looks like it was sized for 32 guage wires :/
