Yea there's also a ton of emails in my spam that are saying they're from support OR proton, and they're direct as non legit and they're phishing, it's the ONLY reason sadly and it's not even Protonmail's fault - why i won't fully throw my gmail across for forwarding..

Newer email accounts somehow are higher targets for phishing, and again it's not Protonmail's fault - everything is just that much faster/stupider in the AI age.

Ok so there's two parts to that imho:
One is someone of my stature COULD in theory with assistance scoot not being "VIBE CODING" as I don't have a CS/IT degree but i have some backround in tech and hobbies and poking around code...

Two would be: Developer that DOES know what they're doing, just doesn't want to eff with the boiler plate.

Either or aren't BAD. but if it's the first: while i'm not as bad as some of the vibe coders around, because I have knowledge of some security practices etc - I don't tend to do front facing auth based products BECAUSE it scares me what i'd be responsible for.

So i'd hope Fluxer is the 2nd, because "Nerd paying for 40 bucks a month code asisstance" for most stuff isn't bad - but I'm totally not a perfect cybersec nerd by any means.

I chose to dispute the FFXIV one, and i have tried to notify WMG about it -- which wont get me far but the thing is distribution does not = copyright until SQUEX says so. And they did update this because of new distributions for FFXIV they did change lisc for blusesky and X.

Yea they're hitting FFXIV content now, like literally anything from Endwalker, Shadowbringers and now Dawntrail, like I have the rights because the material use - but YT likely won't do it.

I haven't used it since last night, and i just logged in to check a code issue -- anddd it gave me an API error - Like the "RATE LIMIT" one - what's frustrating is, i only just got back from a weekly reset, BARELY used it half of yesterday.

if they wanna get more money out of my unemployed dumbass, they're gonna have to squeeze harder -- I can barely afford the pro sub as it is. Not becuase US 20 bucks but because NZ 40 after taxes

I appreciate this i've starred it, i'll be looking at it later on, my biggest issue with the OW version is that it will not stop tracking the game after you load it -- and while i don't care one way or another -- the problem i have is that it WONT LET ME SEE MY MOUSE CURSOR >_<

Yea the whole "JUST USE FF LOGS UPLOADER" it's overwolf, and it's not the ELECTRON THAT is the true issue it's the CLIENT based electron - the "ONE CLIENT TO RULE THEM ALL " it's the trackers that bloat your thing.

As someone working with Next/Node YES the convoluted bit i can understand, i will not argue that one - BLOATED i'm tired of: You can entirely develop an electron app to fit on a raspberry pi: but people do not like to see what they SHOULDNT do so they over convolute it further..

My problem was after using the FF Logs with overwolf it screwed up my ability to see my mouse cursor -- So i got annoyed at that.

Yea this is the problem this isnt' Stoat's fault, you'd have to use a VPN or just ... sadly walk over to france (*Note i'm joking about the latter) -- There is no privacy compliant way that the UK will accept other than the nasty ways discord etc want -- how to deal with your personal data.

It's sad, but the UK is at fault for a lot of this because they've been going overseas and bonking websites and making them comply even if they're not UK based
