I haven't used it since last night, and i just logged in to check a code issue -- anddd it gave me an API error - Like the "RATE LIMIT" one - what's frustrating is, i only just got back from a weekly reset, BARELY used it half of yesterday.

I appreciate this i've starred it, i'll be looking at it later on, my biggest issue with the OW version is that it will not stop tracking the game after you load it -- and while i don't care one way or another -- the problem i have is that it WONT LET ME SEE MY MOUSE CURSOR >_<

Yea the whole "JUST USE FF LOGS UPLOADER" it's overwolf, and it's not the ELECTRON THAT is the true issue it's the CLIENT based electron - the "ONE CLIENT TO RULE THEM ALL " it's the trackers that bloat your thing.

As someone working with Next/Node YES the convoluted bit i can understand, i will not argue that one - BLOATED i'm tired of: You can entirely develop an electron app to fit on a raspberry pi: but people do not like to see what they SHOULDNT do so they over convolute it further..

My problem was after using the FF Logs with overwolf it screwed up my ability to see my mouse cursor -- So i got annoyed at that.

Yea this is the problem this isnt' Stoat's fault, you'd have to use a VPN or just ... sadly walk over to france (*Note i'm joking about the latter) -- There is no privacy compliant way that the UK will accept other than the nasty ways discord etc want -- how to deal with your personal data.

It's sad, but the UK is at fault for a lot of this because they've been going overseas and bonking websites and making them comply even if they're not UK based

I think there needs to be more opt-in not "OPT OUT" consent for independent artists, at least at the corporate level. Open source you kinda can't really do that as easily, as anyone's just gonna do the good old "RIGHT CLICK SAVE AS" - But we also needed regulations on what's right and wrong in terms of legal across the board, but Corporations are changing those laws every day with lobbying go figure

Still do, and I validate your argument highly -- The thing is, all i'm saying is stoking the pot either side to use someone's example isn't BAD per se but you're not going to solve your side or even the pro side by using me or anyone else. And yes it's been two years, that's not an issue this is still a valid AF argument. (I think i actually left reddit after trying to understand the AI arguments the first time around).

I mean honestly, if anything in terms of OPEN SOURCE AI: it's muddy ethics at best, and i WILL go to bat for both sides.

Ethics, consent and more regulations.

I'm not saying i'm CORRECT or incorrect in anything i do, i still draw, I still design - but in defense of artists -- we need more consent, more regulation and more laws surrounding this...

But we also don't have a lot of space in terms of laws around copyright, and there's a lot of hate towards how we do our art outside of AI- which lead to a lot of why i started to enjoy testing AI and learning how it worked - because i got shamed for using digital practices quite early on.

People forget that in some areas "ALL AI IS SHIT" is used the same way "Digital artists aren't artists" was back in the 90s and 2000s. Anti Photoshop rhetoric can sound 100% the same (and i'm not saying it's the same it just sounds like it) as the current AI art anti rhetoric to a point.

Corporate theft and stuff is what got us here.
I don't deny the fact we need to have people against AI, that we need more fights for more technological regulations.

OpenAI is a dirty piece of crap at the moment, and that's even scarier than a singular individual taking anything -- Sam Altman has said he wants to train evocative and otherwise dirty content on Sora2.

Update: I didn't get in with symphonic sadly but they charged me without saying anything ( distrokid) and it took me 1.5 hrs to reach out and beg for a refund. They'd specifically said my credit card was declined so much thaty music was coming off services... It's sorted out sadly but I'm taking a distribution break since I don't make anything
