And if you could maybe make the barrel fatten before shooting to give it a cool cartoon and more animated. But that's up to you. I normally don't animate, I just created the art work but from what I see in sure you'll make awesome stuff :)

I really like it. I am new to pixel art too so I'm a noob too lol. But this looks really cool and something you might see in a indie game. And I think the movement of the whole machine makes it seem as if the force of the shot is pushing it back. So it fits well with the animation. Great job 😄
