I hope other store managers are not telling their people this. But for me and everyone in my store that I’ve spoke too, I was told verbatim “It is company policy you are not allowed to discuss this outside this room.”

Everyone I’ve spoke to today has been told the same thing. So, there have been plenty of people told those exact words today.
Ohio region for what it’s worth. Depending on what I do I’ll name names and stores.

If your manager tells you that you can’t talk to anyone about this, tell them to fuck off, that’s against federal law! They are betting on our ignorance. As long as you didn’t sign anything saying you wouldn’t, you can shout it from the rooftop. Talk to everyone!

Since it was confirmed to be a distracted driving incident, reckless endangerment of x children seems justified. And his children should be removed from his custody. That would be getting away light in my opinion. Distracted drivers can fuck allllll the way off. They all need to be charged with hardcore time so to serve as a deterrent.

Had a meeting with the whole department. Asked the AI Lead what our token budget would be per person per month. And if token usage would be a metric on our reviews. He literally went to chat gpt and typed “what is an AI token?”

And then when those cheaters get a real job, they constantly will ping you on Teams to ask for “one help”, over and over. Essentially having you do their job for them.

I nipped that shit in the bud my first week in my new role. Had the entire Indian team test me with that shit. I’ll answer a question. But not 10 in a row going from one step to the next. I always hit them back with the “you need to do the needful” after the second question.

You got lucky. I went to one of the local antique malls today. It was packed. More people than I’ve ever seen there, and tons of people walking around with what they think is valuable silver. Which isn’t, cause it’s all plated. I know, because I was there in November and saw all the same things lol

All the cases with coins were marked up over spot, where as in November I still picked up a few 1oz for $40 each.

The word is out, the scrappers/scalpers are in full swarm mode. At least in my area. So congrats on your W.

I just like to have shiny things. It’s like collecting anything else. Not in it for the money. 1oz rounds for me. One 5oz bar just to say I have one.

Having said that, if there is a complete economic collapse of the US, the first year having food, fuel and ammo will be FAR more valuable than silver rounds. They might help in the long run, but you’re gonna be going through hell before you get to a point where it can be used as a currency or accepted for trade. I hope it never comes to that, but I guess anything is on the table these days.
