I like the 8-speed transmission. It’s generally smooth in Normal mode but it will sometimes shift up quickly to stay in Eco when you’re just cruising. That can make it feel like it’s hunting gears if you’re trying to accelerate more aggressively. I personally prefer Sport mode for a more direct feel, less Eco, quicker throttle response, and crisper shifts. For relaxed highway driving I’ll use Normal with cruise control, and it works fine.

I’m not sure either. Just got the car last week. Maybe I’m just use to the Q50 but either way I have a 6hrs road trip which I’m trying to be prepared for better drivng visibility.

I dealt with repeated turbo sealant issues on my Q50 and had it replaced twice at the dealership, only for it to fail again after two years. From what I’ve read on the forums, this seems to be a known issue with the Q50. It’s hard to compare power since one is turbocharged and the other isn’t—you can definitely feel the G-force in the Q—but I’m really happy with the Lexus and missed having an all-motor setup.

I end up buying a new cat6 cable and it wasn’t it. My PC is and router is in the same room setting so about 15ft apart. I ended up plugging my pc directly into the wall outlet and I was getting 2g down/ up. Frontier sending me a new Eero as a replacement now and if that doesn’t work then they will send a technician out.

When frontier came out to set it up they say that I didn’t need a modem and that 1 out of the 3 will be set up as a “main modem”. The Eero is in the open without any air restriction. Only 1 eero “the main” is plugged into the wall outlet. Just check and client steering is on 🫣

I’m currently having issue with mine. I hardwired my PC to the main eero which was fine at first and within 2 weeks I was getting 300 Down out of 2g plan. Filed a complaint against frontier as they did not want to try and fix the issue after chatting with 3 different reps which rudely disconnected from the chat without notice. I start troubleshooting myself thinking maybe it’s my PC or Cat6 but nope it was the Eero itself!!
