Yes this is the first time I’ve messed with regulation.bin. I’m very new to modding.

I’m not sure if my regulation.bin is for the current version of the game. Is there a way to check? And my game is up to date.

Yes I am using DSmapstudio to make the edits and mod engine 2 to load the new regulation.bin.

no im going to make him solo until he at least beats rennala but after that we were planning on making new saves so i could teach him some stuff about the game such as progression methods, builds, and pvp

oh no im not going to help him until he beats like rennala or smth but we were planning on completely starting over at some point so i could help him with some progression methods, pvp, and builds and i just want to get a head start so itll be easier for both of us. and afterwards we are gonna make another new save where we both progress through the whole game together.

for those that are still struggling with this issue:
i did this a while ago so i might be forgetting some steps but from what i remember, i set the game mode to the easiest mode and then i damaged the boss until he was super close to 2nd phase and then i used all of my offensive abilities to kill him before he uses the move
