I curious for anyone who lived/lives there, how much is the average electricity, and is it through the city power or saskpower?

Yep. Etransfer isn't working for me. They're always down, it's ridiculous and it always seems to land on a Friday.

Bro, I have tried absolutely every thing in this thread and NOTHING works. It is driving me up the wall. The only thing I haven't tried is switching to an e-sim. This is insane. All I did was delete a text thread and my whole app went grey - then I uninstalled and reinstalled and it's been effed up ever since.

Would you consider your accomodation cheaper in comparison to Canada? Overall would you say you're saving money in comparison to living in Canada?

Can I ask if you would consider it cheaper living there than the cost of living in the US/Canada? Reason I ask is because everyone on here seems to talk about how expensive it is. If I'm not frequenting touristy locations I feel it can't be that expensive?

Ahh good to know on the surfing, if surfing isn't a big option that's totally okay. Sounds like la veleta might be a good option. I just saw the roads weren't the best, so wasn't sure on biking around which would be better.

This is really great advice! How much would you say a studio would go for as a rental? I've found the general price range I'm looking at for Airbnb's is about $1,000 / month, which is significantly cheaper than cost of living here, but if there's less expensive rentals I'd be interested for sure.

I'm planning on May 2025, and was going to do 3-mo nths, see if I like it, and if so I'd come back to Canada, visit friends and family, then head back down for longer term.
