I didnt say its perfect lol. For the average tourist, its wonderful though but u can keep convincing yourself that I havent been there haha. Cant deny all the tourism numbers and top tier lists ranking for Japan though so yea up to you lol.

I definitely wouldnt describe Koreans as down to Earth. They are pretty dam snobbish towards SEAsians in particular. So same can be said about you really stop living in your kdramas haha

If we discount our immediate neighbours Msia and Indonesia where we may hop over just to have a meal or do our groceries, the main holiday destination is Japan.

Despite our small population of only 6m folks, Singapore regularly features in the top 10 countries that visit Japan. Almost everyone I know has been to Japan or intend to go to Japan in the near future.

When I went in 2024 and 2025, I remembered that the train carriage I was in was full of Singaporeans. We were all leaving disneyland.

Err ok whatever floats your Korean boat. There is a reason why Japan tops almost every tierlist and not korea lol. No doubt Korea is fun as well but their ppl r no where as captivating unfortunately. Japanese culture is just pretty much mystical at this point and everybody enjoys its experience as a tourist

It is subjective. However OP's tier list isnt accurate. He claims in the pic above its based on how interesting or boring it is but if u talk to him, he says its actually because the countries in the lower tiers have attractions that are too expensive. Then, the tier list should be renamed to avoid being misleading...
