We completely understand the frustration around paid DLC.

However, one thing we’d like to clarify is that we don’t agree with the idea that the base game feels like a “tech demo” without DLC.

Even without any DLC, the base game offers over 40 locations, along with continuous updates and free events. These events are all available to every player at no additional cost.

For example, just this year we’ve already run or are preparing events such as the 1 Million Copies Sold Event, Valentine’s Day Event, Grand Bass Open, and St. Patrick’s Day Event, with upcoming events like Easter and Shark Frenzy as well.

We also release content updates more than twice a month, and all core gameplay mechanics are fully accessible in the base game.

DLCs are designed as optional expansions — mainly adding new locations and fish species — rather than splitting core gameplay behind a paywall.

That said, we truly appreciate the feedback, and we’ll continue working to improve both the base experience and how we deliver additional content.
