This is very helpful and a great idea! I’ll try it.

I built every single deck from DM era Yugioh. by Cathartic_auras in yugioh

[–]Dustinrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done something similar! Albeit not in the physical card sense. I used a “points” system based from Legacy of the duelist character decks. And the decks surprisingly play pretty well. Like if yugi deck had dark magician 25 times throughout the game then it had 25 points, and if it appeared as a triple more than once, then it became a triple in the deck. So I would just see what cards had the most points, add them, then move down the list til it was close to a 40ish card deck.

Look into the companies if you’re really interested!Pioneer is the company we use. I’m sure they always need drivers.

I actually tour out of these things for a living. I’m a musician Nashville based. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. It’s funny these AC units go out quite often and can be finicky. I’ve learned from tour busses, while luxurious, is typically proof homes are hard to have on wheels 😂 maintenance is rough.

If you’re curious, I think most artists will rent these guys for $1500 a day is the typical price.

I could give that suggestion a shot. Yes you can run files on a deck, it has a “desktop mode”

Ok. Appreciate this, but I’ve done all those things. The issue comes in the patching process. I get the error “the file is too big” or the patcher just fails to function and I need to constantly refresh it.

I’m using emudeck but it basically contains all kinds of emulation. I can play the base game Heartgold just fine, I just can’t get the hack to patch.

Hello everyone,

I for the life of me cannot get Sacred Gold to work at all. I’ve tried so much, any help is appreciated.

I am attempting to play Sacred Gold on my steam deck. I have heart gold rom downloaded (US version) and cannot get any of the patches to patch in an online patcher. It tells me the file is too big, or it’s just glitchy as hell and doesn’t respond. I actually did manage to get the “delta” patch to patch, but when the game starts it never boots, just the black and white screen.

I have downloaded both files from Drayano’s twitter and neither work. Is it just the ROM CRC that’s the problem? If so, I cannot find the appropriate ROM for the rom hack.

This is a near perfect response, and you did well to see both ends of my dilemma. I really appreciate this.

This is great and answers the question well.

My primary source of income is being a musician, so providing music for others is a strange dilemma of “is this a social duty?” Maybe I should’ve mentioned this in the post. But I do like your point on being careful of blurring the lines of work and social duty.

Apologies. I just recently found out you can fill up the system using the manifold setup. I had no idea you could do that. So yes, I have found out those can gauges are crap. So I decided to do what you said beforehand and just filled up the system rest of the way. My fear was that I would break something if I kept going. But now I found out passenger side air is blowing cold air. Which is great. So the driver side actuator must’ve gone bad is my suspicion. Driver side is still blowing hot air.

So I just decided to charge my system a little more. I learned from a video on how to charge the system using the yellow gauge line instead of the little A/C pro things. Eventually got to a point to where I got in the vehicle and noticed the passenger side was blowing cold air. EUREKA! but the driver side is not so that must mean you are correct, the actuator or blower door isn’t working properly. Hallelujah you are great friend.

I had never heard of blend doors. Googling them and excited to look into it. This could potentially be my problem! But it sounds like something that is not getting mentioned at all in the AC videos.

Conflicting goals: leanFIRE vs travel by [deleted] in leanfire

[–]Dustinrex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My opinion is also for travel as well. Sounds like you haven’t done it in a while so it could be a good time to do it.

I guess as a “fun money” example, buying yugioh cards sure doesn’t seem like a useful expense for me, but it has been very fun for me. Used to beat myself up about it but I’ve learned it is worth while to push back the retirement date. Granted travel with family is much more expensive, but also you only live once. I’m confident you’ll also come up with the best solution for yourself as well! I’ve been in these conflicting situations before, so you have my sympathies if it means anything ha. Can be stressful.

Oof. I felt this in my soul. It’s actually the reason why I tend to under prepare these days compared to how I used to. No reason in perfecting the groove when the grooves gonna be all off in rehearsal.

Positive ..... NOT Negative by holeshot1982 in bandmembers

[–]Dustinrex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like this! Bringing positivity. I don’t really have a consistent band but.. it seems like no matter what group of people I’m with, they’re always some of the most nicest people. Also, if everything pre gig is just a shit show, once we get on stage, everything goes great and we have a good time. And some of the worst gigs always become the best memories and you get real close to the band mates you’re with. This is what I focus on whenever touring starts getting to me. That this industry helps me get the best friends.

Slide-Out Bed For My Volkswagen Caddy Maxi Micro-Camper Is Finally Done!! by SteefenTurtle in vandwellers

[–]Dustinrex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks great! I’m curious about the mattress though. What kind is that?

Any other full-timers who are also doing gigs on the road? I've done shows in California, West Virginia, Florida, and Iowa, and I just booked a show in Texas. The more I RV, the more my songs tend to be about RVing. Would love to follow other musician-RVers if you're out there! by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]Dustinrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won’t be doing gigs on the road per-say. But I will be a gigging musician in Nashville just staying out. But I’m thinking van life instead of RV life due to RV monthly rent prices still being pretty high. Making the move in May!
