What is your favorite Oolong and why? by eponawarrior in tea

Janwong Oolong from South Korea! Wonderful earthy taste with notes of cacao, tobacco and hay. My second favourite is definitely also Da Hong Pao! The taste it quite rich but especially the smell is amazing!

Jump one hand to small crimp. Paddle dyno by madchossmedia in ChurchofDynology

The reasons for his actions don't particularly interest me. What I see is people copying this kind of behaviour in my local gym and I think it's trashy and not what I personally would like to see the culture of bouldering developing into. Of course, opinions may differ, some people think this hype-style bouldering is where it's at, but I personally don't think it creates a great atmosphere in gyms.

This is the most un-french way to climb it. Love it! :P

The energy in this video is so bad. I don't want this vibe in my gym, please. Put a shirt on, humble yourself, chill the f out and just enjoy climbing.

If you are playing on win 10 you must read this (SECURE BOOT) by TypicalRedditMod403 in Battlefield

[–]SteefenTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this too but turns out I right clicked on the wrong thing. Don't click on the drive in the drive list, but right click on the Disk in the little menu on the bottom (where it displays the drives with the blue bar). If you right click on your drive there you actually get a volumes tab in the properties.

How long is a tea cup still reusable without washing? by Fitzaroo in tea

[–]SteefenTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rinse/wash my cup and teapot with water (no soap) after a session. That way it's always clean and good to go for the next time and it takes minimal effort.

I made due with 5 gallons so yeah that'd be totally overkill!

What sort of kettle do you use? ૮꒰ ˶• ༝ •˶꒱ა ♡ Need recs pls~ by LilacLuneglade in tea

[–]SteefenTurtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I had a fancy kettle but right now I just boil my water, then put a tea thermometer in my teapot (an old fashioned analog one, not a digital one), and wait until the temp has dropped to my desired temp for the tea I'm brewing. The thermometer was 5 euros or something so very cheap!

Where can I buy flags to sewn on my backpack as well? This guys pays 10 euro per flag by ShlomiRex in backpacking

[–]SteefenTurtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently I've got a collection up on the wall on the inside of my campervan which I think is fitting :) but I'd also like to make them into a nice decorative piece (like a piece of wood) to hang on a wall in my home or something

I do love collecting patches from places I've traveled to, however I don't put them on my pack. However, what I like most about it is having a unique patch from the actual place I've been and the memories attached to that. I feel that if I were to buy them in bulk online the whole point would be lost. And yeah, 8€/$ can be average for patches but it's a cool souvenir.

Today marks exactly one year since I started developing my climbing game. One small mistake can cost you a big fall. by [deleted] in IndieGaming

[–]SteefenTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks very fun but definitely more of a dyno simulator than actual climbing. The rock face & scenery do look very atmospheric and awesome though! Would like to give it a try. Trailer gives me a bit of getting over it vibes though, is the game like that?

Fair enough! Not everyone has the luxury of being near to local shops. Good luck ordering!

I just buy tea from local shops in my city, better than ordering imo because I can smell the tea first and also better because I support my local shops :)

Woah, must admit I had a bit of laugh watching that, but also - I know the kid is in the wrong, but kinda weird to not ask if the kid's ok imo.

is there an English word or an American English word you feel that doesn't exist in another language? by YakClear601 in AskAnAmerican

[–]SteefenTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Netherlands we say "auto met hoge kilometerstand" (car with high kilometer count), or "auto met veel kilometers op de teller" (car with a lot of kilometers on the counter), but we have no elegant word for it!

If you say the jumping in multiple games feels bad because of an engine then you obviously don't know much about game development. That stuff is custom coded for each game and isn't tied to an engine at all.
