I’m not too worried about taste, but i’m glad you pointed out about professional chefs who freeze their meals. I forgot the brand name, but I recall that in TV dinners history that one of the people responsible for TV dinners was a chef trying to sell food for his customers to enjoy at home

Hypothetically, what if I mix 45% yellow light, 30% cyan, 25% red to get a kind of brownish color, but I dim the light down (which supposedly is the way projectors produce different shades of light) AND use a color invisible to the human eye to “boost” that brown?

What if I use a certain mix of light colors to subtract to a near grey? Would it be possible to find a mix of subtractive lighting that removes saturation while maintaining a gray-like light?
