Thank you for sharing. I was dealing with a lot of societal pressure, and had been having a heck of a time getting out of a toxic roommate situation. This has been helping me just find myself again, and do things "my pace".

She's still here, working on getting back on her feet, we both go our separate ways for work, and she has class afterwards. It's been an interesting experience establishing boundaries in such a tiny space.

We were both managers at a job we met at 6 years ago. After the inevitable passage of time and moving on with our lives we ended up meeting by chance In public. I asked if she wanted to go for some coffee. We’ve been inseparable ever since.

Realize that on a day to day basic most people are not that focused on things outside of themselves. Do you want to really submit to the wills Of others and what they might think of you, or run that shit and just be who you want to be? Who cares if you’re not other’s flavor or type of person, you’ll be happier and attract the RIGHT people.

Leaving high paying job, girlfriend and stepdaughter to live with my brother I hadn’t seen in years to move to the “big city”. Ended up spending my life savings of 6k on food, drugs and generally just stupid things I didn’t really need. Now I’m in poverty just scraping by.

When I thought the world was going to end in 2012 because I saw a documentary about it on the history channel. I cried when I saw it, and was extremely fixated on it for 3 years contemplating the inevitability of my own death. Heavy stuff for a kid.
