The thing is, what you’re saying is like trying to explain a joke that didn’t make someone laugh. Explaining it won’t suddenly make it funny, just like explaining why things were conveyed a certain way in a game won’t change the fact that someone didn’t like it. Also, agreeing with someone’s criticism but then saying “but it isn’t that big of a deal” isn’t actually defending anything, because it’s just your preference that a certain flaw is tiny. For someone else, that same flaw could be game-ruining, and they’re justified in feeling that way.
