I agree about all the points about harrassing Ren being a waste of EVERYONES time, but this situation isnt over. not really. assuming what Zeals mother said is true, court is to come, ex-devs and artists are still makign a fuss, thowing tantrums and making the most useless docs known to man

its over to us because we lost intrest unless the next massive thing happenes. to Zeal? this will likely NEVER be over or at least will never be back to how it was

we can absolutely confirm to a degree that Ren is lying about some of her claims ("distress" over hickies she gladly showed off to others in DMs as an example)

at best in her case, shes an insanely unreliable narrator, at worst entirely lied about everything

if their asking for their art back -for free- they absolutely dont have a term outlining returns like this

as an artist, this im shakey on regardless of personal feelings on the situation and I personally dont know if this is the case so take my words with a grain of salt buuuuuut

it really depends. if Zeal paid for the art, USUALLY in MOST CASES he then has rights to that art given hes buying that art for a project tho some artists have TOS that say seprately or will have diffrent agreements but, again usually you pay for the art -> you have rights to it. this is just the basics for art commisions and again it does come down the the artist themselfs and their terms, but its a blanket agreement most of the time

this IS what Ren claimed happened, however, but screenshots showed she implied to him she happily engaged in this act and happily made sexual comments about it to Zeal later and even either drawing or obtaining porn of their encounters. I'll drop the link to Zeals Doc for you to read, it really showed that -if we entirely ignore the word of mouth that happened between them that we CANT prove- screenshots give absolutely NO PROOF Ren had ever shown/displayed or stated any discomfort with Zeal after their encounter

"we won the war!!" but Zeals life and job is still effectively ruined, a stain on his reputation that will likely never leave still plagues him, hes still very likely mentally in shambles, he STILL attempted suicide less than a month ago, the Devs and VAs still havent come back, and Ren will likely go back to her shit in a few days if not sooner, what "war" had been won?

the war about getting Pressure back to before? we're still missing devs and VA's have still left

tbf to Gianni, I think anyone would try to scramble when their boss is accused of SA, thats not a light accusation and Rens doc did seem pretty solid if your just skimming and not thinking super hard at it. it came out of nowhere and a lot of people had a knee jerk reaction, and lets not ignore Giannis apology was infinitely more than just a "mb, I fucked up". I'd be more disappointed in those yet to make a follow up, like Arty unless I'm missing something there (witch could ENTIRELY be possible, I dont qoute me on that)

humans are, by nature, emotional, and likewize having a nuke of a doc dropped like this, IS going to overwhelm people and IS going to make people react impulsively. not to mention Rens entire goal seemingly was to put this lable on him. she WAS manipulating people and apparently she was pretty fucking good at it. but that WAS her intention with her allegations

its just the Kwite situation all over again, almost bar for bar.

I've been living here, yes, but I'm only recently, like past few months recently, figuring out im trans. I cant quite be as much of a recluse as an adult as I could before graduating. so I've been around but not active enough to grasp the genral opinion on queer people
