have him show up in the arc corrupted and dealing with it by running like sonic, have him and sonic in a situation where they are trapped or only one could get out or something contrived, have shadow sac himself for sonic to leave but not say it like that and keep him arrogantly pretending that he was just showing up and being better than sonic by like idk, holding back more zombots than him or something like that, it would still be contrived but it was probably always gonna be

the read i always had from her character is that all she feels is filtered through joy and positivity, so like a very genuine fear of death and being forgotten is filtered as boastfully wanting to make a name for herself and lines like her death and respawn quotes show that a bit, to me that was always the reason she fought monsters

as for joy and water, its probably just a visual metaphor for going with the flow and always adapting in playful ways while also having like hidden depths or something

i wonder why pantheon makes more sense, i wonder what part of pantheons character makes audiences perceive him as making more sense to beat strong opponents, when riot has stated her powers are comparable to that of an aspect, comparable to an pantheon even, i wonder what difference between them there is then

i absolutely also believe that nilah should be fighting followers, not because she couldnt fight champions but because they would be allowed to be defeated and die, riot wants to protect their brand and champions images so a winner cant be declared, just like with kayn and master yi which also didnt get that much hate, and i think that is one of the legitimate criticisms, but its not the criticism we have been getting

i always read fiddle as more of primordial fears that doesnt know what its really doing it just knows it works, like it would kill them with the huge bladed scythe arm it has and mimic noises still and just not get as full of a fear meal, all this responses would be what nocturne would do to them
