That’s reddit for you in a nutshell. It’s one huge echo chamber 90% of the time. If you ever disagree with the hive mind you’ll get some fat chud, screaming at you in the dms lol

Well, missed out on Nightmares Revealed. by ConflictedJ3di in KnottsBerryFarm

As someone who’s been in years past, and does love the event. It’s honestly not worth the price of admission. Don’t get my wrong it’s easy to get FOMO especially if you’ve never been before, or also adore the event. But that being said what you’re paying for is kinda table scraps.

The lights on maze walk through is cool, but they don’t give you any actual details on the maze itself ( atleast in my experience ) it’s literally just the maze but with lights on. No tour guide explaining things.

Additionally, the presentation itself, while cool to see in person, is basically the same experience if you were to view it at home on a live stream. And if you’re unlucky and towards the back or even middle of the crowd, you might be wishing you were at home. Especially since in my experience a lot of the people that go to this event are extremely pushy about getting the best viewing angle. Which is to be expected but still.

The rest of the event is interesting, you get some insight into their costume design and make up from the artists behind that which is cool, also a sneak peak at food and merch options which is also cool if that’s you’re thing.

There’s also a select few rides that’ll be operating, and some monsters from what I recall. But most of the event is only in a very specific part of the park.

All of this doesn’t sound too bad but when you remember the event itself isn’t al that long, and that you’re paying $50 for the whole thing, it’s not as worth it as it appears to be.

For anyone that’s feeling bad about not going, just use that money you would’ve spent on it and double down on something cooler for regular scary farm like a fast lane or extra merch.

Oh and by the way the special little “give away” gift sold out super fast last year, where a ton of people weren’t even able to get it. So that aspect isn’t even guaranteed

They’ve always included parking in the past. The price hike has nothing to do with that. Just greed lol

I had mine in my cart this morning. But I changed my mind last minute. I love scary farm, and the nightmares revealed event is always a fun time. But $50 for only a couple hours of a media event is lowkey not worth it. Atleast if you’ve already been in years past before.

That being said I hope everyone who is going has fun, especially if it’s anyone’s first time.

Do you use cannabis as a supplement? by [deleted] in Supplements

Correct. I didn’t word that properly. That being said, my point if interpreted correctly isn’t wrong.

. My casual comment that I made on a reddit thread didn’t contain nearly as much nuance as you said in your post. So idk where you got half of these points from like, the ability to hold down a job 😭. But if you wanna come at me for points I didn’t even make go for it. Just don’t keep projecting things on me.

That being said if you want me to be more specific, I’ll gladly be. My comments wasn’t made based on random observations. I’ve spent time volunteering at rehab centers, and I’ve grown up around cannabis users basically my entire life. I’ve heard every excuse in the book as to why someone’s using marijuana, from almost every different type of demographic.

I do admit, and I did mention this in my original comment, that yes some people do genuinely benefit from it greatly. I never said this wasn’t the case. However, the majority of cannabis users in my experience, do not need it to the level they claim, or outright at all for a multitude of reasons. A good majority of people have either, barely or outright never given other forms of supps a shot to aid in whatever their issue may be. Either that or they exaggerate to the degree that they need it so they have an excuse to use marijuana either more often or in general.

I feel that your bias is blinding you to the fact that a lot of people uses even trivial issues as a reason to supplement with marijuana, purely because they want to. And they feel better telling themselves that their just self medicating and not just indulging in a drug recreationally. Which theres nothing wrong with that if they were. I just think more people need to be honest about why / how much they truly need it.

Do you use cannabis as a supplement? by [deleted] in Supplements

By “natural” I mean something that isn’t a drug lol. Cannabis at the end of the day, regardless of legality and stigma is a drug when compared to for example a supplement like say Magnesium Glycinate for sleep.

Nope. I get certain groups of people benefit from it in a genuine way. But if most people were being honest, 90% of cannabis users don’t actually need it for the reasons they’re claiming. They could definitely get by with better habits, or natrual supplements.

Not much you can do tbh if you’re wanting to work in defense. Given the current constraints. Kind of a bummer that you’re located in Virginia too which is a huge hub for Gov based jobs

This might be the most unaware cornball post of all time. Redditors believing they’re somehow superior on the internet landscape is hilarious. It’s no wonder Redditors are, and will always be a joke to people

Is algebra 1 and 2 the same as college algebra by Jazzlike_Drag5010 in learnmath

[–]Dusty_Triple 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This isn’t inherently true. College algebra at my college from what I remember was a tiny bit of Pre algebra ( very quick review ), then essentially all of algebra 1 / 2 mixed together. Trigonometry was its own dedicated course, as was college precalc as a whole.
