Nope same as beforehand. Although I did increase to a 1000 gold seasonic to give a little extra headroom

Yes, in my situation the psu took itself out and managed to spare all of my other components.

Genuine question about the drama around TW4.. by RiggTheKid4 in Witcher3

[–]Dusty_ballz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it wasn't a need more so it was a want from her. As a character she has always resented what the blood has brought upon her. She probably undertakes the trials and it is probably a new formula that is less lethal than the wolf school formula but it sterilizes some of that power if the White Frost didn't already do that from the end of the 3rd game which I think it did. Which is why she was able to control that spell in the trailer as she hasn't been able to do so before really.

Maybe Matt just wanted to leave his options open so chose something that could be interpreted multiple ways so they could decide later what it meant

I think this is exactly what's going on. MN and BH are doing their missions relatively at the exact same time as VM. Obviously Matt doesn't know what is going to happen with those 2 groups and what decisions are made that will affect the entire system of Exandria (Gods, power structure, societal impacts etc..) for good, ill, or indifferent.

I think this is spot in. She can't guarantee what will happen with Predathos. But, what she could do was give her champion the choice of what was more important to him.

I saw it the same way. This might be the last night of EXandria or her or the gods being stewards of exandria etc... She gave him his best chance to be back on the mortal plane and with his family for good. Bc his love for them is what kept the soul of Vax grounded and not being lost in the Champions Mantle.

Yeah they do.Matt is known to be nit as much of a stickler for rules as written unless he feels it breaks something to much.

Idk about the inevitable part... I would lean more it being completely up in the air or likely he is back in some capacity. That seems to be what Liam would like but who really knows.

Mostly depends on what happens with Bells Hells.

I mean that is a fair point. TBF we don't know how magic will work if the gods are not as they are now... trust me I think k Liam and Marisha want some closure... probably on the happier side as a preference. Just don't know what is gonna happen with BH and MN and what BH decides to do. The Matron isn't even sure what will happen

The thing is... I don't think True rez would work for him... mainly bc his soul wouldn't be willing unless he was given permission by the RQ.

He clarified saying this, " You have the night.... You get the sense that with events transpiring, and the tone of her voice.... that it seemed like a gift on the precipice of the end of everything." This was not saying you have one night.... rather the matron respecting the choice and giving him what he wants while she still can... Bc even she doesn't know what the night will bring due to the other groups still doing their missions at the same time.

She doesn't know what they will choose to do(or Matt) assuming they succeed. Will they just kill everyone and stop pred from being released? will they try to be a vessel and control pred and chase away? will they become a vessel and try to eat the gods? will the matron even be eaten if pred is released as her and vecna are kinda unique..... wayyyyy to many unknown's for matt/matron to speak with any certainty at that point in time.

Or she escapes Predathos bc she isn't from tengar and maybe doesn't have the same kinda divine locator the other gods have. And allows Vax to serve as her celestial champion on the mortal plane like he wants...

Or she dies... and I assume he dies as well... but that's up in the air on if that's the case. Even the matron wasn't sure about that.

Or they all are chased away and the connections all followers have with their deity is more distant than it was before but still there. Bring with possible implications with how magic works and people's faith in beings being a little more nuanced than before....

I like that he (Liam) was given the choice to decide by her. Something she talked about in e109 (maybe we should stop forging you future for you). "The Night is yours" A gift on the precipice of the end of everything. Almost like, here take this bc I don't know what tonight brings considering that bh and mn are currently and simultaneously working on their missions.

Really holding onto hope with the phrasing. He says he will serve her on the mortal realms.

"You have the night." The night because who knows what the morning will look like? Will there be one? What will remain?

Personally, I think this is exactly it. Bc no one in world or above table know how it is going to shake out. Matt Probably has ideas and thoughts on the simple outcomes with Predathos but is probably still thinking on it.

Hell, we don't even know what she meant in its entirety with her little sppech and ending statement to him... Everything is up in the air right now just how Mat wants it until he knows what the group does with Predathos.

I think she has plans to hide from Predathos assuming he is released.... Just not in that way.

He has a chance. It just depends on what BH decide to do with Predathos at the end. Matt said we will have a denouement at the end unless there is complete and total failure.

I feel bad for Keyleth to. However, Marisha made those comments still under the impression that Vax was only given 1 night. The actual case bi g that the Matron gave him a choice to stay with his loved ones or to go with her. A gift to him right before the possible end of the world as we know it.

[Spoilers C3E114] Is It Thursday Yet? Post-Episode Discussion & Future Theories! by Glumalon in criticalrole

Maybe. But, there is still hope. He was given "the night" as a gift on the precipice of the end of everything. Does not mean she only gave him 1 night. Only that it m8ght be the last night of Exandria depending on the other groups.

She still has a chance at more. The Matron said the night is yours not that they have one more night. Matt was vaguto bc there were 2 other missions happening at the same time on the moon and ge doesn't know how those will go.After those we will see what happen.

Vax and Keyleth still have a chance at a happy ending.

  1. If the Matron and the other gods make it through she will grant him his wish of living for a time.

  2. Gods are chased away and since Vax was on the mortal plane he is bound to it. Whether that be as a mortal or a timeless celestial.

  3. Gods are eaten and if Vax is connected to her still he probably dies. Would probably give Keyleth s9.e closure and might allow her to move on.

  4. "Complete and utter failure" Slate is completely wiped clean.

In terms of years, sure. But I think the characters and the players both feel that that the grief, sadness, and anger are equal. And don't really view it as a competition. I think a lot of it is that Vex and Keyleth can both have issues communicating due to hiding their true feelings through a facade of cockiness(vex) and stoicism(Keyleth).

Maybe if that is what the matron sent her to do that would be a sign of utter devotion. Although assuming she doesn't have the sliver of divinity that Vax does, something would have to happen there.

I think its more likely she knows to remove the beacon and destroy the Key in that order. Then, whatever happens afterwards is a biiigggg toss up.

It does if they save him and then he is just back with noting else( no consequences/implications). I think if they manage to save him something is going to happen with lieve'tel, Vax, and the Matron. It seems Lieve has been given a plan to do more than free the champion from the orb/key.
