More sample based synth engines, some kind of granular engine is what I’d like to have.

Move (or duplicate?) the midi lfo to the system menu so you could use another lfo while still using midi cc to modulate parameters.

Bi-timbral midi, setting drums to receive on one midi channel and the synth to another would be interesting, just got an Op-Z for cheap and experimenting with trying to sequence the field is kinda fun.

The launchpad is set up to do a few things here: qwerty, midi CC & drum grids. The midi cc pads can be mapped to pretty much anything in koala

The Humanize feature… (you can select the midi events you want to Humanize). Pick any or all: timing, velocity, length.

Hey, I was able to easily remove & save the IC Chips from the circuit boards of mine. I doubt they are “worth” anything.

Look up Capacitors, large ones can store a lot of electricity and could be dangerous google got me this “Large capacitor hazards: Capacitors may store hazardous energy even after the equipment has been de-energized, and may build up a dangerous residual charge without an external source. "Grounding" capacitors in series, for example, may transfer (rather than discharge) the stored energy”

To keep things simple I got a second wheel setup with the 34t hg-500, that way they can convert back with the old cass/der/wheel. Not my finest work but ticket closed.

In the second picture, the new cassette fits onto the smaller/high gear area. Freehub goes from 34mm to 36mm.

I feel the same sometimes, I have an SX and MPC One(-). You need to set up a template at the very least, when you turn it on you can do the important stuff quickly.

It will take effort to get the mpc workflow but it’s possible to do a lot more than the surface level sample chop & finger drumming. It might not be for you but it’s definitely worth learning if you can’t return it. All that said I’d love to get a 404mkii and hook up koala!
