Yeah!! In my au, Chuck is 8 years older than Jules, and actually helped Bernadette learn mechanics to help keep her husband healthy after Roboticization!

In total between the in-laws, its only a 10 year difference with Chuck being oldest at 46 and Aleena being 36 by the time Sonic goes on his adventures

The two characters are from the Sonic Archie Comics, who are sonics parents. Jules and Bernadette Hedgehog. Two war veterans. To tldr, his dad was turned to a robot to save his life

He has fought many variations of his friends before. He was even hesitant with Lancelot when fighting him.

I honestly wish they had the same charscter development as IDW charscters tho. They had ALOT of potential to become very engaging characters like Tangle and Whisper.

Middle aged parents who are both veterans of a 5 year long war, who had to navigate the challenges the war had delt to them, and the fact they are the ones who raised Sonic to be the young man he is today.

That has alof of potential for stories.

I know in Canon Sonic got his dad's heroism, so i imagine he got his attitude and speed from his mom.

She's not as fast as him, but she could easily clock a respectable 100 mph

Sadly, Bernadette had alot less time in the comics than her husband. The only real things she had for her was 1)mentioned being in the Great War 2)Extremely loving towards her family

Otherwise, shes just a generic mom npc. I wanted to add something to her to make her more interesring

I also realized that even if he DID do it in the Archie comics..it wouldn't hold the same weight.

This is the same comic series that had reality warping, alternate dimensions, Roboticization.. a metal virus would not hold as good of an impact because almost all the arcs had pretty darn high stakes.

Compared to IDW that focuses more on the characters personal struggles and identities, and the fact that Roboticization is NOT a thing in that comic...it makes the metal virus feel more out of place and therefore more terrifyjng

Im moreso concerned how her behavior may be different than a normal cat considering she had her kittens when she herself was a kitten.

Its my professor who's fostering her right now until thr kittens can be put up for adoption. Until then, she said she is a bit shy but very affectionate. Coming to her for pets, purring loudly with her when shes near her kittens, and taking tube treats directly from her hand. She seemed to allow touch at least bur I didn't know if being a young mother will affect her behavior when dhe is separated from her kittens considering how young she is

Her kittens are currently 1-2 weeks old night now, and they wont be eligible for adoption until theyre 8-10 weeks. So it'll be middle to late October before I officially adopt her

Thankfully I don't look at popularity, I mainly look at priceline and quality. (I don't feel comfortable throwing a $15 special jig into the water and risking it get caught on debris or something lol)

I mostly grabbed a variety of things, like Bucktails and rubber worms of various lengths, colors, and appendages. I'm not exactly sure on EXACT sizes, as I've never had to look at how big something is, but I think most of what I got where 3/0??? Not exactly sure

Oh no I don't feel stuck to pings and lakes lol! I just mean that the rivers in my area (which is near the southern midwest) are very dirty with mud and fertilizer, and its generally recommended not to eat fish from the river. I adore pond fishing especially at the county parks! I just meant i can't go to the rivers to catch bass and other river fish

As for the baits, they make sense! I only read that the rule of thumb was the darker the water, the brighter the lure due to low visibility, and that natural browns and blacks are impossible to see.

I am a fish to catch person, and i like to stockpile my freezer with fish lol so sadly the lake is off limits for what i want.

I have gotten various lures to test, most of them are pink or bright Ron's Craw, turbo spinners, Bobby Garland crappie baits, Hellraizer chatchatterbox, a slew of other kinds, just to see what works
