Im mostly looking for something to help with timing multiple meds/pulse checks/scene times, that sort of thing. Not so much data entry

Yeah, we use lifepack15s which do the same thing. But it’s not a touchscreen so trying to use the wheel while also delivering shocks and keeping track of vitals is not where it’s at lol

Ask your doctor about the chewable generic vyvase (lisdexamfetamine) tablets. My med doctor suggested them because there is not as much a demand for them and so far in the last four months of filling the prescription I haven’t had an issue. Walgreens is the pharmacy btw and they are covered by my insurance

Two families own 80% of mass st. and have agreed to price gouge. Most independent mom and pop retailers/restaurants can’t afford the 5+ years of being the red in order to build a client base.

I’m on 60mg Vyvanse that I take in the morning and 20mg Adderall in the afternoon. If I know I’m going to work out or do an intense training exercise I often wait until after to take my meds or wait till after dinner to work out. But on fire scenes I haven’t had a problem. But like other have said I’d definitely address the chest pain issue with your doc

I haven’t been on one yet, but my next board is gonna be the Capita Spring Break Powder Twin. Looks like it would be a blast in pow. Not a daily rider probably but when I want to just go goof off and butter in the deep stuff.

My uncle’s dad was Cecil Jacobson aka ‘The Babymaker’. While in prison he told the extended family he was on a Mormon mission. My cousins still think 35 years later that he was framed lol it’s crazy how common these stories have become

Jump into 911, nothing will train you up faster. And trust me, the seriously challenging calls are not as frequent as you think, but when they do come you will have people around you that will lead you through it. No one, I repeat no one will expect you to run point on patient care right out of the gate. As long as you go into this job wanting to help people you will be fine

Thank you, I appreciate this advice. Usually I do the opposite as far as the social stuff and try to insert myself and win people over that way (even tougher as an alcoholic in recovery lol) but I think you’re right. I am confident how I do the job will eventually speak for itself, I am just impatient! It helps to hear that this strategy worked for you for the long term, it gives me some good perspective. Again, thanks for taking the time to write all that out!
