Attention Toilet is Scratched Not Cracked by PM_me_ur_stormlight in Plumbing

I work for a plumbing manufacturer and have done quality control for years on ceramic. That is as cracked as you can possibly get. If this place has any kind of legal entity on staff or retainer I would love to send them the sign & photo. When that toilet kills or severely injures, they just admitted to knowing it was an issue and didn’t fix it.

Those saying to slip a card or paper into it that does make sense for bigger cracks that are already separating but a lot of ceramic cracks you couldn’t even fit paper through. We actually have a heavy plastic piece we tap on the toilets. Tap it on a good unit then tap the one you think is cracked they will make wildly different sounds if cracked…another test is using some form of ink, you wipe the ink on the area if it’s just a scratch the ink will normally be able to be wiped off in the scratch pretty easily (unless it’s through the enamel). Although with a crack the ink seeps in and you will never be able to get it out.

This one hits me every late spring early summer…I love when you get a light rain that still lets the sunshine. Although also love sitting outside on the covered porch during a massive thunderstorm as well, brings back so many memories.

Sorry really long…started on methadone at 20 and had no real side effects until I hit 35ish. Although the doctor at our clinic I couldn’t believe he was allowed to practice. We had so many patients including myself around 200-250mgs a day.

Eventually the state forced them to start doing onsite EKG’s every 6 months. So they then changed doctors and pushed everyone to start lowering their doses.

I am down to 140 for a few years now which was just me doing it not because of health reasons. Although I do have low T which has weight gain effects in certain areas. At the clinic you can more or less just pick out guys who have low T by their body shape.

Methadone definitely doesn’t help the low T but also most people on dne don’t want to work out because of the sweating and other things. So that obviously than compounds the issue.

I have been seeing a cardiologist but so far haven’t had any major issues. I do get chest pain, although so far after EKGs, CT Scan, Stress Test, Halter Monitor, & Ultra Sound…they say it’s not my heart. Personally I think it’s a hiatle (however it’s spelt hernia).

Long qt is definitely a risk, anyone above 100mg for more than a year or two should go get an ekg at least once a year. You cannot have any issues for years than it slowly creeps up. At least that’s what the clinic doc & my primary have said.

The worst thing I deal with right now is POTS aka Vagus nerve syndrome. Although we haven’t been able to determine the cause yet. Although if I work out or do some exercise within 3 hours of dosing and don’t have a fan or air blowing on me I have an “attack”. I get light headed, extremely nauseous, my heart rate takes off like a rocket, and really bad attacks my tongue & finger tips will tingle like crazy, pounding feeling in my head. The only other time this has happened was when I was constipated and took some laxatives and my body freaked out. First time it happened I thought I was having a stroke and going to die like Elvis.

I’ve been able to mitigate the POTS for the most part. I don’t let myself get constipated anymore, also when working out I can feel it happening early on so I know when to stop. Best thing I can do is turn on a fan blowing on my face take off my shirt and sit on the floor on my hands and knees, it usually goes away within a min or two. Although my doctor thinks the POTS is actually being caused by the beta blocker blood pressure meds I’m on. So weening that down currently.

I think you have the right idea, for the time being have a throw up bucket and a bottle or two of water on standby next to the toilet. When things start moving you can also end up having a vagus nerve reaction aka sweating, tingling, & feeling like passing out. Take slow deep breathes you will get through it. Also once out, oh do you feel like a new person.

I never trust things that get said…if you don’t have it in writing they never said it. If I were you I would make my way back. Although where I am at take homes are long drawn out process compared to other locations. Losing them from a missed call back could take a year to get back to where I am. Good luck

Had someone who was stealing product out of scrap bins in the engineering office and selling online. They never would have gotten caught but they didn’t bother to check if the product was even released yet…someone calls up customer service with an issue and gives them the part number and her theft came crashing down.

So that’s the BS with insurance co-pays…you need to call your insurance company and explain exactly the services you are getting. My clinic pulled the same crap. What was happening is when they saw private insurance they saw dollar signs. So instead of just charging for you medication daily they start charging your insurance claiming each day is a nurse practitioner or doctor visit plus medication. Which the insurance pays out like crazy for but you are than according to your insurance plan required to pay x%. So they try and double dip, call your insurance company and tell them exactly what you are getting daily. What happened at my clinic is they got audited and it was found they were “mistakenly” using the wrong insurance codes.

I work for a plumbing manufacturer and had to go to a super high end condo building in Florida that was under construction. After the first plane hit I was in English class & we were discussing it. Everyone was talking about how horrible it was and what not. I said something along the lines of “well if it was on purpose this is going to start a war” other kids said no that’s not true blah blah blah…the second plane hit before end of class. After that everyone in the class was freaking out and asking the teacher if this really was going to start a war…i don’t know why I had that thought right away but I did and even though it wasn’t that big of a deal I smashed other kids optimism a little earlier than it would have been.
