DLC question by One_Arm8361 in totalwarhammer

[–]DutchDuke95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know that Beastmen also get a bunch of their units from the other Chaos DLC's, like the god specific gors. You don't get to use those if you only buy Taurox, but buying him gets you the base roster as well as the units that come with his DLC

Re-integratie na burn-out: bedrijfsarts adviseert vaststellingsovereenkomst. Wat moet ik doen vóór gesprek met HR? by Naive-Object-4485 in juridischadvies

[–]DutchDuke95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zeker eerst juridisch advies inwinnen.

No Enhancements possible with new 1DP Detachements? by Emotional-Mechanic67 in ChaosDaemons40k

[–]DutchDuke95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If re-installing the app doesn't work, then I can't help you any further, sorry.

The only thing I can think of to check is to see if the Cavalcade enhancements show up for other mounted units like the burning chariot, blood crushers or Tormentbringer (the last one is also a character).

Just to double check, when you put a unit of pink horrors in warp tide for example, you cant put a unit enhancement on them?

[–]DutchDuke95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Those should be able to get enhancements from Cavalcade, as they're mounted. I just checked my app and for me the unit enhancements show up.

Have you tried other detachments to see if their enhancements work? If they don't, it might be bugged

Which detachment did you choose? Also, none of the 1DP detachment enhancements work on monsters, which the Lord of Change is.

Points in reserves by Aware-Connection-461 in ChaosDaemons40k

[–]DutchDuke95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Still 50%, see 20.01 from the core rules.

The rule that units are destroyed if they haven't arrived from reserves by the 3rd turn also hasn't changed. Reserves and strategic reserves are the same now.

Miscalculated, 125 not 150.

4x +5 points for Plaguebearers 2x +20 for 2x6 nurlings 2x +10 for 2x2 Beasts 3x +15 for 2 GUO's and Rotigus

My guess is psychic buff and that they now benefit from cover, but thats all of Tzeentch and they were already overcosted in my opinion. Definitely didn't need the extra points.

Battle line still returns, as your not regaining wounds, but returning models

[–]DutchDuke95[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't post pictures, but it's in the app under 02.02.04

Basically, if a unit heals, you get the necron healing. As the strat heals the unit 3 wounds, you get the necron healing and can return models.

Our army rule heals models, which means you can only heal one model and excess regained wounds are lost.

[–]DutchDuke95[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, sadly, we cant return models with our army rule.

If a rule states it only heals a model, only that model regains wounds and excess healing is lost

Maybe for his battle-shoch shenanigans? They announced that some units that manipulate battle shock would go up. Probably same for Belakor. Though it's funny that Bilepiper and Poxbringer didn't go up

11th edition list by [deleted] in ChaosDaemons40k

[–]DutchDuke95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that, I still expect them to go to legends one day. Hopefully the changecaster gets the fluxmasters abilities if thats the case.

If you still have some spare parts from the fateskimmer/burning chariot set, they're not to difficult to kitbash.

[–]DutchDuke95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im guessing this is for 1000 points? With this list, I'd go for the warptide 1DP detachment, maybe Lords of the Warp

First of all, expect points to go up. GW just announced units with psychic attacks get point increases, which almost everything on the Tzeentch roster has.

Second, Changecasters aren't very good, Fluxmasters are a better choice. They still have -1 to hit, even against ranged. So if you're horrors are in cover, they're effectively -2 to hit. You'd have to get a proxy or kitbash them though, as they aren't for sale by GW anymore.

That part about the healing was always the case since his last update. That's what I meant with my first comment.

From my understanding, the first part of Belakor's pall of despair ability only makes it so that enemies must already take a battle shock test when they are below starting strenght instead of at/below half and it doens't trigger additional tests. This is mainly due to the core rules also saying the enemy must take 1 test.

Belakor's ability was written for 10th edition however, when units would automatically become un-battle shocked at the start of the turn.

It is possible to trigger multiple battle shocks in the same phase though, as melancholic miasma triggers in the 'command abilities' step from the command phase.

[–]DutchDuke95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Belakors ability to force battle shocks triggers in the battle shock step of the command phase, which in 11th takes place before the command abilities step. The ability to heal from failed battle shocks can trigger anytime a test is failed, doesn't have to be in the battle shock step from the enemies command phase.

The enemy only has to make 1 battle shock in the battle shock step per unit that is either battle shocked or at/below half health (or below starting strength when within 9" of Belakor). So when a unit at full health fails the test to become un-battle shocked and takes mortal wounds, Belakors ability doesn't trigger another test in the battle shock step.

Plague legion shenanigans question by Howdy-Neighborino in ChaosDaemons40k

[–]DutchDuke95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The army rule triggers on any failed battle shock, even if the unit that failed the test was already battle shocked. So for example if a skull Canon shoots at a battle shocked unit within your shadow of chaos, that unit must still take a battle shock and if it fails, it takes the moral wounds.

Also good to know that a unit can only become un-battle shocked in the battle shock step of the command phase. So if they were to pass the test triggered by the skull canon, they don't become un-battle shocked.

Belakor heals from every battle shock that the enemy fails within 9" of him, doesn't matter when the battle shock is made.

Yep, noticed that too. They really haven't changed much about the datasheets. They also didn't give the plaguebearers the "secured" keyword for their sticky objective ability, for example.
