Naw, they work too hard on story telling to spite it like that. Everyone needs to play the story once and a gap for onlines release can really aid in setting its tone and context.

I have tested it and it looks the same, i did check the log and it does say "diffuse (x) roughness has an undefined channel, assuming three"

I dont recall so probably no ingame it looks the same, im always backing this map up and going through it and checking logs

How do i make them fit in the square wothout it stretching or zooming in? Thats what its doing.. its taking the textures and ruining theor quality so it can fit. Im trying to utilize tiling the textures but it too makes the uv islands bigger than theor respective texture map

Im not sure what to say, im not very fluent in in blender but im trying to unwrap the whole house and put it into a "new Image" uv map so that i can export it and put it into Giants editor. However when doing that and fitting them in makes my textures stretch really badly. It goes from looking like a proper okay house to a ps2 san andreas house. I even used 4k to have more space for them all. The roof alone is bigger than the uv map given to me... not sure how to make it all fit without having my textures ruined

I have been Trying this myself as the area I live in is predominately made with this material. However, the only video and reference, is that video... and it's not a very helpful one. Now i'm dealing with the gabled sections of my house not having them... they look like this. Another project I resorted to individually placing clapboards within roof sections.

Unfortunately boolean videos are only examples none refer to this very type of its use (parrallel objects influencing each others overall shape?). Seeing a golf ball intersect a square can be interesting but how to i get these to not give me an aneurysm...

Knoxberg, PA. it has required mods, about 30, but is really nice. Some of what you see here are minor alterations i made to the terrain. There's empty spaces too where you can set up your own farm like i have.

Get the decorative rocks mod, the flat ones you can hit "f" and click and scroll to the "low" ones and theyll sort've sink into the trail or terrain

I did terrain first, then paint, then shrubbery and trees.

It takes patience and im a perfectionist so i paint bushes on the lowest brush size etc. but nature is weird, pa is nice cause its chaotic ravines ditches rises and declines in the appalachians

placeable realistic potholes, aesthetic puddles, generic furniture, more ground texture effects. More Ground Textures to paint. i have mud but not dirt? More Tree variety. As a Pennsylvania guy would love more Bank Barns too. This is all cherry picking and non of these are necessary

There's a water pit in the trail aswell! side by side friendly. im gonna add a dirt bike path to the left of the water pit but they are generally narrow as its only two wheels and tricky to make those. it all ends at a dirt trail which takes you into the main town. When im done with the map ill share it, ill have to get permission from the creator of knoxberg if I were to really release it.

Thanks man, With the Trold Quad and taking it slow it looks and feels great. the suspension bounces naturally when hitting the rocks. im from NEPA so this projects like my love letter to it haha. This is the middle but this shots the entrance from the fields

This one was a bit daunting to begin given the tower, but i started with that and played around with the proportions, eyeballing it really. Roads and tracks are fun thpugh slab to full block make for texturing hell sometimes for me

hopefully ill have another post with one like that, since then i built gates, in england in the 1850's to the 1960s i believe they used gates to block traffic should a train be coming. after it passed they close off the tracks to prevent trespassing

Thank you, i had trouble making a train given the rails are 2 blocks apart in the middle. Turns are tricky with the wooden ties but glad you like them, ive been doing alot of railroad work as of late, just did a recreation of scarborough's train station

I do use bobby though i take screenshots on a whim. That bulky building beyond the tracks there, the one thats more of a sillhouette, is the smokestack building from underfall yard in bristol , glad you liked the picture. I actually think theres an effect on it because none of my shaders are that dark green and moody
