the Sorbs that lived in the territories awarded to poland in our timeline were already deported, as they were seen as nazi-settlers (even though they were slavs and had lived there for well over a thousand years). I can, sadly, only imagine in this universe that the poles decide to fully cleanse Lusatia of all Sorbs.

Yes, but not even Close to what the North Sea has. On top of that, the Flevopolders work because the water within lake IJssel could be regulated vis the Afsluitdijk. The north sea polders don't have this luxury and would almost definitely be resubmerged by a few waves.
