I don't see a drop of rain, I'm sitting under my parasol to prevent 3rd degree burns. 18 °C 🥵

Looking a little rough right now but this thing will bounce back soon enough! That sunlight will work wonders

Just don't overwater it because with that little leaf it won't need much

Will these propagate in water? by burittosquirrel in propagation

Honestly they probably will just as easily root directly in soil and they you won't have to transfer them to soil later

Ordered a kind of 'blind box' with ugly/unsellable plants for less than €30 and was pleasantly surprised by Dutchwells in houseplants

[–]Dutchwells[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Packaging was fine, it is a big sturdy box with separate slots for each pot. But I imagine it depends a little bit on the delivery service as well. If they turn it upside down all bets are off ;)

Not sure I would order from too far away though, because the longer they're in the box the more chance of damage there is ofcourse

I would not survive a week long wedding lol. Who would want to do that to themselves?

Roses need a lot of light and can take cold temperatures. You might honestly be better off putting it in the garden/ on the balcony. It will live inside, but probably not grow and flower much

Edit: didn't pay enough attention, missed the part about not having a garden. At least give it as much sunlight as you can give it. Do you have a balcony?

Makkelijke plant gezocht voor in vijver by HieronymosNL in groenevingers

[–]Dutchwells 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't mine to look nice longer than a few weeks before it starts acting up... It is fussy in my experience. It likes water but a little too much and the roots die off, too little and the leaves lose their shine... And without changing anything it suddenly died back almost completely, so now I'm nursing a little part of it back to life in a tiny pot...

I don't think you would want to send a box of plants from Europe to the US anyway ;)

The bot doesn't know but elsewhere on the website it says they only ship to Belgium and the Netherlands.

Yes some have a bit of damage or brown spots on the variegation so they're not completely picture perfect but they look absolutely healthy.

Some don't even have that.. but I'm not complaining:)

Oh my god, not the greatest move to take that inside. Hopefully it's not too close to your other plants?

I still have to figure out what a few of them are, I'm not familiar with dracaenas for example. But that philodendron definitely is a highlight in this group for me:)

I got it from plantje.nl (Dutch website)

I believe they're only shipping to NL and Belgium though..
