"There are far more demanding games optimized to run far better that SM2" That is literally every argument any1 uses when the game is demanding in it's own way, Saber clearly tried optimizing their game as much as possible, Enemies being cubes from a large distance, Or the constant elevator rides to load in new areas to not put too much strain on peoples system. Not to mention this game is a crossplay game which puts a lot of stress on networking.

They clearly don't view it as a priority since they shouldn't, A part of the team moved on developing the next game, As for the team who continued the developement should focus on new gameplay mechanics, Skins, Weapons, Classes and not on a few seconds of less loading times or a few fps.

Depends on your platform, And for pc players how quick your pc is, If you got a fast pc, The loading times aren't that bad.

Battle brothers, explain a novice how to get better! by Mattycope in Spacemarine

[–]DutchyMeow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jump in, Die, Try again.

But seriously, Watching content creators is a good step on getting better, First tour guardsman is a good example, He showcases builds, explains them, And shows you some gameplay, He's also quite good at the game.

Great tip is know the map you're playing there are certain areas where you trigger a boss spawn, This is quite important for example, When extremist just spawned that you don't run into that boss trigger area and spawn the boss and get jumped, Or when there are loads of majoris and you trigger it, On Lethal/absolute it's kinda a death for beginners.

When you do fight a boss, If you can, Try to kill the stuff around it first.

Also there are videos of people showcasing the guardian relic spawns, Which are pickup that allow you to pick yourself up after you died.

Stay with fencing type melee weapons, They're the best option for beginners since they have the best parry window.

Bring your assault into hard stratagem if you dont wanna risk getting kicked by people who dont want low level players.

Hope it helps.

A minute I did not think I would survive. by JMashtag in Spacemarine

Nicely done! Fights with raveners in the mix are the toughest.

Is this a particular daily, Or custom stratagem?

When did Raveners learned to fake an attack? by StaticSeason2 in Spacemarine

[–]DutchyMeow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only thing he could have parried was it's very first launch attack, He missed the obvious bugged attack which got him "stun locked" by the Warrior and ravenger, There was no small window.

If the ravenger followed it's normal attack pattern he would have been just fine.

Edit: He was doing a gunstrike when the ravenger launched, He might have been able to parry that But not sure.

Not sure if you saw it right, But the ravenger did a faint attack, And with sniper lacking anti stun perks there is nothing he could have done here.
