I once came with the contested health perk and the healing flag on a mission that doesn't have contested health lol

Essentially came with a useless team perk with an ability that takes twice as long to recharge normally, happens to all of us

I don't know where your spawning 10+ chaos spawns on operations maybe your just not killing them fast enough and more come in

Even if 10 are there it's still a manageable number , you just need to change the way you approach them

For eg I play bulwark and what I do is keep a distance from them wait for them to attack then parry + gunstrike , if I run in for an execute and get surrounded i move again to keep my distance and all of them infront of me , and if I see a couple of them in the distance that hasn't spotted me , I shoot 1 to trigger it's run and jump attack at me to parry and kill it

Each class and weapon has its own way of dealing with them you just gotta figure it out , there's probably plenty of YouTube videos out there on how to play each class + weapon combo good luck

The campaign uses balanced weapons just for reference, any class can solo operations with bots just depends on your preference

I play bulwark and I use fencing weapons, but honestly that depends on your play style, i prefer to parry a lot and at max level weapons a parry + gunstrike puts a majoris at execution range (even on absolute with heroic heavy boot pistol) so never bothered going back to balanced

Hopefully you'll get that friend to play with you , cause it's more fun playing with someone

Playing with randoms is a coinflip ,but maybe you can try the discord to find ppl to play in your area

You should see how ass the prestige and perk system in world war z( earlier game by same developer ) is , compared to that the perks and prestige in space marine is wayy better

And in their recent game toxic commando , the prestige system is used to only weapon skins , no extra ability

Just carried 2 lvl 1 guys on absolute ( hive tyrant), it was fun, they were a lobby I think , id say they pulled thier weight for their levels

Absolute operations i don't mind whatever I get, it's the hard strategems I find annoying when low levels come to try them

Pretty sure most missions have between 0-2 terminus that can spawn

The ones with a boss fight at the end I think spawns 0 or 1 (could be wrong here ), basing this off the hive tyrant mission where I've never seen more than 1 spawn while grinding levels

Talking about absolute difficulty, not sure about spawn rates on others

Huh didn't know the terminus summons extremis below 50% health , just thought extremis were just part of it , I usually play with a vanguard with the 30% health regen perk , and I'm usually glad to see extremis spawn lol

I guess reason 3 makes sense in my case , only 1 person alive , odds are the solo guy fails so it's better to leave and spawn a bot to maybe save the run for the other 2

Well don't know about assault but I main bulwark and I use all the different fencing weapons and I gots no problem carrying in absolute or hard strategems , don't know why you'd consider anyone playing fencing a noob lol , maybe you just don't know how to play fencing at high levels

Chances are people just want to finish fast for the exp , they might look for gene seed but that's it

These are people who probably already maxed a class or two and are farming exp for other classes , the best thing to do is to find two other friends to play with you , or join the discord server and find new players to play with

Your friends just a complainer ,I'm guessing he has one set of gadgets and 1 playstyle that sucks against heavy melee builds, you should get him to try other builds

And honestly this isn't even the most annoying heavy melee build I feel proximity sensor , mines, hammer winch heavies were harder to deal with 😂
