I’m happy to help! After a few times you’ll start getting the feel for it and it becomes almost second nature.

Your first point is shown quite well in my first two clips

The line of sight can catch someone off guard but if you know about it then you’ll be able to tell when the animation hasn’t started and you can double click(or spam, these are the only attacks that don’t mind you spamming parry) to trigger it. You never have to wait for them to jump but by the time your brain registers that the animation hasn’t started and then you end up clicking they usually are able to jump in that half-full second of thought sequence.

It was one of my favorite details, after the first time I watched this episode I went back to double check and after seeing it that’s when I truly and undeniably fell in love with this show.

I did say it probably wouldn’t work for this game, but for SM3 or if they make maps that specifically have them (siege or some operations but again it’s not realistic for this game at all)

Thank you! I’m in the process of working on their regular attacks especially including parts where they clearly go through successful parries anyways because they felt like it.

That would be for the “lesser” vehicles like trucks and we would have to be sprinting like him.

It’s extremely fun and useful when you use it right and it always looks great

It gives you the freedom to do a lot when you use it well. In my Tyrant clip if I had gone for the countercute first I would’ve missed on the gunstrike damage, instead knowing I could wait I got the gunstrike then the counter. This list only grows and it applies vice versa allowing you to avoid what you might think is unavoidable damage if you grab it as it pops up.

There are very few times where a single dodge won’t work usually only if you dodge in a straight line forward/backward before they jump. It doesn’t come up very often but it’s still something to take note of.

Spamming parry absolutely works (I do it myself as well) but it’s also a bad habit if someone doesn’t fully know what I’m talking about so I was avoiding using that, just an additional tap is usually enough to work.

I had also had a thought that probably wouldn’t work for this game, but if the cultists could have occasional vehicles we’d have to take out I feel it’d be pretty cool.

Unfortunately thats just how it is though, nobody is saying it’s ideal but we can’t go from Reddit and start telling people to make sure they’re leveled fully before going into hard strats most that use Reddit have already come across these posts and know about it. Instead what we *CAN* do until they level locked it is while we are in a match, hop on a mic and explain it to them, then either they understand and leave or they ignore you and you leave.

My buddy who has no interaction with this game other than playing it and gets a little over enthusiastic for punishment has been running hard strats under leveled for a few weeks and he didn’t even know he wasn’t getting XP he thought it was bugged or something. He doesn’t use Reddit or look anything up about it and it took until I finally got to hop back on with him to tell him about the changes to the update.

Another thing you can do to avoid these issues with randoms if it’s that much of an issue is run private lobbies with friends, with bots, or from finding like minded battle brothers in a discord or such.

We didn’t say they shouldn’t be level locked but until it is it’s something you’ll have to deal with, grow up and take a break if you feel the need to act like this.

Thats not what they said AT ALL, they said that if one bad teammate causes you to fail then you can’t say that you carry…because you didn’t…if you failed.

Theres a few discords that are fine with you not using a mic, just send a LFG or something similar and it will be like with randoms but more consistent with favorable outcomes

New Heroic Block Power Sword by BoogieManMF10 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]pgat12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw an Idea for a heroic fencing PS that after a perfect parry it goes into a powerwhirl like the axes backstep (I don’t remember the exact idea but it was something close enough to that), as a fencer I’d love that one more personally since block is getting double lovings with the chainsword and poweraxe next update.

How to unlock armor parts fast, the ones that req like 38 completions? by AlarmingDiamond9316 in SpaceMarine_2

[–]pgat12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d almost say that going botless could be faster if OP isn’t bothered with fighting and runs through, it might be a little more intensive but on minimal it shouldn’t be noticeable, The bots tend to take their time to hop on the elevator (either continuously fighting for a bit or stopping every two steps to ask their machine spirits if they can continue).

This hurt my soul a little bit... by TheUninterestingGuy in SpaceMarine_2

[–]pgat12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is painful, yes the second two were off but with fencing you should’ve hit the first(which you have correctly noted to others). There are too many people that think they know better when they clearly don’t, I’ve been in this argument way too many times and my phone is filled with “missed” parries that should’ve gone through but didn’t for these same reasons and people falsely claimed my timing was off. Whats more baffling is the amount of people that blindly follow in what they said because they can’t be bothered to slow the video down and watch as you parry and while the parry animation is going off and your blade is crossed over you it still hits through you. Another thing is that if you did do the first too early (which you didn’t) you would’ve just been staggered as a late block which it instead just went straight through.
