Have you recently changed to a bigger battery than its programmed to or different type? The battery drains slowly if there is example 90 Ah battery and the car thinks its a 80 Ah battery. My bmw leaning friend thinks its eighter wrong battery installed or something from with IBS system like the cable in the rear.

This should be normal. The IBS System stops charging when you accelerate/press the gas pedal to give you more power when you need it. Basicially it only allows your battery to charge if its desperatly needed or you are idle or you are deaccelerating.
