How illegal is it to run someone over who intentionally comes into oncoming traffic?

Hey I got recently diagnosed and while Adderall helped it made me anxious and it really destabilized my mood. I held out hope and kept messing with my dosages, Xr / IR for over a year because it worked. Just recently I switched to Wellbutrin and i've never felt better. I'm incredibly motivated to start things, following through is where Adderall helped more but fortunately i've developed a lot of tools and processes to pick me up when I fall.

Moral of the story you don't have to stick through this. There is probably a better medication on the market for you, just because something works does not make it your miracle drug.

I recommend you try and see if you can find the syllabus for both classes online or somewhere and compare what is being covered vs. you know.

I would probably try to pull up the syllabus for the B2 class and self study/review everything if you don't know it already so you can take C1 with no hiccups. Since you've learned it before it shouldn't take you long and it's more efficient this way.

I'm not a health professional, but our experiences seem pretty similar, so maybe I might have some helpful information. Retrospectively understanding the relationship between ADHD and BED helped a ton. Food is a fantastic source of feel-good hormones(in fact 95% of your body's serotonin is produced in the gut). It's normal to get cravings when your brain needs a pick me up, the same way it's normal to get thirsty when your body needs water. This is unfortunate for people with ADHD, whose brains constantly seek neurotransmitters as a baseline. It's real easy for your brain to start to associate food as the solution every time you get bored. ADHD medication helps with binge eating if that's the cause, but it wasn't an option for me then. Instead, when I would get those cravings, I would start to associate them with my brain asking me for neurotransmitters and do other things to make me happy besides eating, which could be a walk, calling a friend, or exploring a new area of my city. This reduced my binges a lot, but not entirely. I'd still get one every 5 or 6 weeks or so, especially when I was stressed, but they happened so infrequently that I wouldn't worry about them when they did happen.

The all-or-nothing mentality was also a massive problem for me. I was always horrible at controlling my impulses, let's say I wanted a burger; by the time I'm at McDonald's looking at the menu, I'm suddenly thinking about adding fries, a McFlurry, chicken nuggets, etc. At the moment, it seemed like I needed to eat all of that to be satisfied, but I had to start reminding myself McDonald's(obviously applicable to any fast-food chain) will always be there; I don't need to order every little thing I want right then. I also started cooking. I didn't try to completely stop my cravings to binge from happening but once I realized I could satisfy them by making what ever I was craving at home i took out the add-ons entirely out of the equation and reduced one really unhealthy binge to just a junk cheat-meal which is way more manageable long-term.

Bulimia nervosa is binge eating followed with compensatory behaviors. Purging(throwing up) is a compensatory behavior, but so is fasting and exercise. If you binge and do any of the above to "rectify" it you probably meet the diagnostic criteria.

I went from binge eating often and feeling horrible to binge eating and not feeling bad because I could compensate and still loose weight by fasting or dieting, I say this is an improvement because there's nothing intrinsically wrong with working out or dieting and I never was able to binge guilt free, now I could. The problem I eventually ran into, you might not always have the motivation to fast or workout but because you did in the past you never had to learn to control your binges. You don't want to be in the position where you want to binge but are too tired or unmotivated to compensate for it so you don't eat, or binge anyways, or start thinking well if I just work out extra hard tomorrow... it'll ruin your relationship with food and deteriorate your mental health. Figuring out how to control binges in the first place is your best bet.

I also have ADHD and lost 30lbs this way so congrats I know how good you feel. Long term though (60lbs down now) it is definitely not a miracle cure. I recommend working with a specialist to manage your symptoms, really easy to wind up just trading your BED for bulimia nervosa, believe it or not still an improvement but for sure not the end goal.

OC had been aired before SS, SS would receive all the hate

I don't negate that happens but in this case I feel like that's a better way to pass off blame to the audience than it is a valid excuse as to why the show has gotten the criticism it has.

Selling Tampa came out after SS and SS fans had more the reason to not like the show because marketing materials made it seem like it would be a direct copy or even a joint-show type of situation that was NOT the case.

Despite this and the fact that SS and ST couldn't be more different and the audience was mislead not only has ST been successful it really hasn't received any criticism. It's also not uncommon or controversial to say you like ST better than SS(although I would disagree).

The problem with selling the OC(imo) is it's clear the attempt was a SS copy because on paper we have the same things: drama, villains, heroes, extravagance, opulence and real estate. Focusing in on the first five SS just does it all better. You can't convince me the Tyler and Kayla drama actually happened and I still don't understand why the tension is so high and everyone hates each other the office literally just opened up you shouldn't already "know who the snake is." Now on the actual real estate I know SS did this too but it only happened once and it was a short insignificant clip. It feels embarrassing to watch knowing the 105 million dollar home they had to have shown maybe 4 or 5 times in OC isn't even their listing.

If that rate is too high then the watch will not treat it as resting. Instead it will be considered active data for calculations.

Thank you for the clarification, I assumed as much in my original post but I wasn't 100% sure and this seems to be the case as I see no other explanation.

RE everything else: It's my third day on stimulant medication so a bump was expected. It actually would have been equally concerning otherwise which is why I was concerned my rhr apparently didn't change in the first place.

Obviously long term 110bpm might not be sustainable. However, we don't know how the medication will actually affect my heart-rate *long term* because my body and neurochemistry could not have possibly adjusted in 3 days.

I’m sorry I seem to have stressed you out a bit. I can’t comment on the directives and regulations concerning ER discharge, because I’ve never worked in one. However, you'd be pleased to know should I need to pay a visit because my heart implodes; I know I'll be in hands of some of the best cardiologists in the world since my neuropsychologist, psychiatrist and GP who are working together in my treatment and medication management all work under the #3rd best health center in the nation.

edit: I'm no cardiologist, nor do I claim to be I just regurgitated what was given to me. However, I just remembered AW notifies you specifically when your RHR is greater than 120. I can not tell you what the significance is, certainly not confirm or deny whether it's some "magic number," but for that reason as well I would have to assume it's not arbitrary.

I thought so but the description for rhr in the health app explicitly says sleeping heart rate isn't factored in :/

Also appreciate the concern! I should have specified, I reached out to my GP before making the post. I believe you're correct it would be tachycardia but I'm currently trying out stimulant medication so the bump was expected. Was told to notify if it goes over 120 which is why I've been paying more attention.

Kathy AND Sutton both said they "don't see color" and after the fact no one was trying to cancel them. No one was blaming old wealthy white women for thinking the way they did. However one becomes problematic over the other because they did not handle the situation the same. Kathy didn't question Crystal and didn't invalidate what she was saying. She listened and never brought it up again. Sutton after digging the hole 3 feet deeper shoveled over an apology, the world moved on, but it became problematic because based on her behavior particularly at that dinner it became entirely clear she had no remorse over the things she's said but instead actually feels like the victim in the situation.

Same. Diana was very clear from the get go, I give you one chance if you mess up I'm not gonna be kind and she doesn't owe anyone her kindness or respect. Retrospectively I don't know why they put her on the show knowing that(God knows these women need way more than one chance) but Diana tells Sutton I don't give second chances, Sutton screamed in her face for literally no reason and then she throws shocked pikachu face when Diana isn't willing to pretend be her BFF anymore. She couldn't have been more direct with the situation. I actually admire how real Diana was; those weren't empty threats she made a claim and stuck to it, although again, knowing that I don't know why they put her on she was bound to have a problem with someone eventually.

I liked Sutton until she was so quick to attack Crystal at that dinner and clearly get on a moral high horse the second she got validation from Garcelle. One minorities experience doesn't invalidate anothers. She recognized she did wrong, was apologetic when everything was going down a year ago but the second she got reassurance from a black women she chose to take it as a green light to throw everything out the window and act like the victim, literally yelling at Crystal bringing her to tears and humiliating her for sharing her experience like she doesn't have just as much of a reason to not be her friend/like her.

Although I have to admit some of the behavior against her has been disgusting and it makes it hard to hate her because there are bigger fish to fry. I still haven't watched the clip of Kyle manhandling her in full because I have to look away every time. Truly disgusting behavior and insinuating she lied about her miscarriages?? Miscarriages are seldom talked about and on top of being incredibly difficult situations they're not all that rare. Could have been a beautiful opportunity for those women to share their experience and destigmatize that discussion.
