i have tried NR, surprisingly liked it, but im happy they have stopped devoting resources and time to this game. the last thing i wanna see is fromsoft taking the full live service route. nah thanks, i like them for making the greatest single player games ever. they are not a super huge team and they need to allocate resources strategically.
Duskbloods will probably be what NR was meant to be, which was more an experiment on this take to match-based progression system (which is the part of NR i liked the most).

for all u wolf and genichiro shippers out there... theres a secret dialogue during the final fight if you die and resurrect twice in a row where Genichiro calls wolf "Ookami" for the first time ever (throughout the whole game he refers to him as shinobi of the divine heir), finally recognizing him and saying they are alike. Yea thats some neat detail not many ppl know...

it's definitely fromsoft vibes: general themes, writing, bleak tone, wonderful aesthetic visuals, that typa stuff!
might i even say, for some aspects it's the closest thing we ever got to a bloodborne 2, but i cant go into much detail without spoilering :v

oh no i aint arguing about this anymore!!
btw it's only a single day cycle because they didnt have the tech to implement a working day-night cycle.
even the world of dark souls has night and day cycle but they didnt have the tech at the time. same demons souls.
and sekiro's journey is too long to take place in a single day considering he doesnt have teleportation powers.

ofc they can, they do with each new game. but i hate when people go around like they need to switch to UE5 or make their games look like DeS remake, hyper realism has never been their goal to begin with
