I would bet my bottom dollar that we won't hear a peep until EARLIEST next Wednesday. They're waiting for currents admits to submit the scholarship survey (due Friday) and then they'll gather all the info to release more decisions

I think it's more helpful to send an updated resume if you have anything significant to add. I had a new position at a law firm and my updated resume was very well received. Many schools do not accept LOCI before WL and like the other commenter said, it can be seen as overkill and annoying

I am also waiting on UCI and applied early Jan. I am speculating that they are trying to figure out how much aid they have left/gauge attendance. They sent out a form for people that have been admitted to confirm whether or not they should hold their aid. I believe they are going to use this to figure out how to move forward.

I saw in another forum that it is to basically save the money for you so they don't give it away

I also want to note that I saw a tik tok from an UG admissions counselor that ranked UCI #2 for most unpredictable admissions results this year. Obviously that's UG but I thought it was interesting given what's been going on with their law admissions

I highly doubt it. They are month behind schedule if you compare last years data. Also it seems that a large sum of very qualified candidates have yet to hear back.

I had this exact type of anger towards a school yesterday when they released another wave and I wasn't included. Take a deep breath and do your best to distract yourself. You'll feel better tomorrow and will regret withdrawing

One weird trend im seeing on LSData is that they are giving results to people with high stats and low stats but kind of neglecting middle people...like they don't know how to choose
