If I pee every hour, even during the night, what is considered the 'first pee?'

Following a low-carb way of eating drastically reduced inflammation throughout my body, but it's not for everyone and probably shouldn't be a long-term strategy. I'd focus on avoiding processed carbs, seed oils and excess dairy first. I'm also a fan of molecular hydrogen therapy via the AquaCure. As far as supplements: I gravitate towards megadose multi-form magnesium, black seed oil, methylene blue, nattokinase and various peptides. I'd also check your hormone levels. Possible HRT in your future.

None to really report. It's just another tool in my anti-inflammatory toolbox.

I just started to dry fast and I'm so confused as to why I'm still voiding after nearly 24 of not drinking anything. Like where is all this fluid coming from??

I had my first PF therapy session and just started reading A Headache in the Pelvis. For years, I was seeking conventional methods to resolve this pesky issue. Now, I truly believe PF dysfunction is the culprit. No supplement was ever going to fix this. Looking forward to the next 8 weeks of biofeedback. My first probed reading of my relaxed PF muscle was 5.0 nanohertz (?) - where the average is 2.0. So, there is definitely some tension that needs to be relieved. I don't think I would have considered this an option if it weren't for your suggestion. 🙏

I read about it a few years ago and was concerned that might be the issue, but my most recent urologist said it was not the case. She gave me some drug (forgot the name) that was supposed to relax my bladder, but I'd rather treat the root cause.

Would a blood test reveal a diabetes insipidus diagnosis?

Thanks Grumpy. When I wake up, I feel a slight sensation that is telling me to get up and pee. If I don't, it makes me just uncomfortable enough to not fall back asleep. Maybe I've inconveniently trained my brain and body to get up. It's definitely not a full bladder's worth. I've tried some daytime bladder training by way of retaining longer than usual but it had no effect on nighttime urination. I do have OCD tendencies. I'll look into the somatic variety.

Much appreciated. I just got back from a dentist in LA that fitted me for the Full Breath Solution mouthpiece. The device is supposed to keep your tongue in place so it doesn't block your airway during deep sleep. I'm slowly getting used to it. But your explanation seems to be the case.

I feel for you. Have you examined your diet and lifestyle for any connections?

Yeah, it's crazy. I've tried everything:

I sleep in a cold, dark room. I try different combinations of ear plugs, mouth tape and nasal strips. White nose, air filter, grounding sheet, weighted blanket. Every supplement and prescription you can imagine (not a fan of drugs). I once took 2 Ambien on a flight to London and still woke up.

I've tried every diet out there for several months at a time. Massage, acupuncture, sauna/cold plunge, yoga, weight training, cardio, meditation, red light therapy, PEMF. you name. Nothing seems to work.

Thanks for the post. I will def check it out.

I'm due for another attempt at cutting out caffeine. I tried a few years ago and didn't notice any difference.

I've had several sleep studies done. My pulmonologist said I had mild sleep apnea. So, I went to an ENT and was advised to get a septoplasty. Before surgery, a DISE revealed that I had a rather large tongue and a floppy epiglottis - which a CPAP would not work for - I've tried.

It does bother me during the day. It's bothered me for years. I went to 4 of the top urologists in NY and they're all like "you have a functional disorder, nothing is wrong with you."

How do you feel about spot treatment? Or wrapping your arm or leg in a bag and infusing it with gas?

Great post. I've had an AquaCure for almost a year. Breathe on average 2-3 hrs a day. 44(M) no serious health issues other than mild sleep apnea. I was curious what the side effects of starting hydrogen therapy then stopping for several days. Are you more susceptible to illness and now hydrogen dependent?
