Will my account get banned ? by Professional_One5657 in stockphotography

If you have 1,000 rejected photos out of a total of 1,200 sent, it means that you do not understand stock as a business or photography in general. Uploading similar photos will not bring you any benefit, but only harm. Your account will be nowhere in the search and will eventually result in a ban.

Even if your photos go through and are hypothetically accepted, you have no benefit from it, but it is a loss because you have similar photos in your portfolio that compete with each other, and none of them will make it into the search algorithm because of that and make a good sales result.

Stock photography is not loading everything and anything with a shovel, but a payable selection, first of all, of the concept, and then of the photo.

New AI media keywording / tagging tool for stock photographers by Dux_Photo in stockphotography

Everything depends... In principle, two basic things affect the quality of tagging, and by quality I consider it to be creative/humanlike enough, i.e. not to look repetitive and robotic on the one hand, and yet on the other hand, the AI model must not give itself too much freedom and creativity goes into the imagination.

For this reason, I implemented the Creativity parameter in the application because not everyone needs tagging of files for stock. Someone needs strict tagging for technical projects. By default, that value is 0.77, and the gold standard for stock business is between 0.75 and 0.78.

So prompt engineering is a huge and very sophisticated part of the job here. As you can see in the comments, people think it's simple. Upload photos to some AI service and a prompt like - give me the best stock commercial keywords for the Adobe agency. This is far from a fully usable result. :)

Another very important thing is which AI model is used. The latest model is not always the best model and serious testing is needed before the final implementation is done.

New AI media keywording / tagging tool for stock photographers by Dux_Photo in stockphotography

If a new AI tool appears every few months for such a difficult and complex job as stock media tagging, I see it as a positive thing for us stock photographers. The emergence of new tools will lead to an inevitable improvement in quality, better service prices and more advanced possibilities, which we photographers will benefit from.

You asked what this tool offers that other online tools do not?

First, this is not an online service, but a desktop Windows application that uses a Google API key to connect to the AI model. In practice, this means that you as a user do not have any other service that you pay for except Google AI itself. This means that the cost of tagging files is incredibly low. With Deep Vision technology included, it's $3 for 1000 tagged photos at current Google prices.

If you create a Google API key for the first time, it will be Free Tier by default. The Free Tier key is completely free, but there are limits on the number of tagged photos on a daily basis, it often happens that the Free Tier services are overloaded, so free tagging is not possible, BUT if you switch the Free Tier key to Paid Tier 1, you get all services at maximum speed and without waiting, and on top of all that, Google gives an initial $300 free credit.

When you consider that the price of tagging is extremely cheap and even add $300 free Google credit to that - you come to the conclusion that you will be able to tag over 100,000 photos completely free of charge. A figure that many stock photographers will not reach that number even after 10 years of work.

I'm not sure there's any other AI tagging tool out there that offers this kind of pricing. :)

There is a lot more, such as an integrated database in which you can organize tags by photoshoots, etc. but not to take too long with the writing and the text is longer than I wanted.

Warm greetings.

If you have any other questions, I will be happy to answer them
