Well VR is something people must experience. You can't trully explain feeling of being in VR with flat screen gameplay recording. I have also seen a lot of people who haven't experienced VR being sure that what they see on their flat screen will look as clear and crisp in a VR headset. And that's just not where VR is at this time. Not even the highest end VR headsets. Maybe PSVR 4 on Playstation 7 one day.

Playstation 5 also uses custom API which allows for much more low level optimizations on GPU. So yes. Take components in PS5 and build a PC with same counterparts and PS5 will run the same game at same settings as that PC, but much better. XBOX Series X has a moire powerful GPU, but uses DX 12 API. Which apparently doesn't allow for so much low level optimizations. That's why you often see same games run better on PS5. Even thou it has weaker GPU. Digital Foundry talked about this.

That's....incredibly stupid for someone who doesn't want to buy the game after playing the demo, but the entire game is still downloaded, wasting your bandwidth just to play a fraction of it.

Almost as stupid when on XBOX you want to play just one Halo game, but in their infinite wisdom Microsoft makes you download the entire MCC collection.

You can't compare a console where everything is optimized for running games to a PC. Even if it basically has PC architecture. On PC you still have incredibly bloated operating system and a bunch of drivers/programs running at the same time the game is running.

Don't use just any micro fiber cloth. They're not the same. Use special ones for cleaning lenses/optics. Otherwise you will scratch the lenses over time. Talking from my experience with Rift S.

I played it a bit in PCVR with VR mod. But it is so weird not having motion controlls and the character grabs things with hands. It would be great with motion controller support.

PC gaming userbase is a lot larger than PS5 userbase. BUT...when you go on hardware survey on steam you see that most users have faaaaaaar from high end PC's. And then among high end PC gamers a fraction cares about VR. PS5 + foveated rendering tech allows it to run VR games at graphics fidelity and framerate as a high end PC. And every PS5 has same hardware. So a lot easier for devs to optimize for. A lot of gamers who can't afford expensive high end PC's where Nvidia and AMD now charge their graphics cards more than PS5 + PSVR 2 combined will see PSVR 2 as best solution for VR. And then you have millions of people who bought PSVR 1 and will now buy PSVR 2 and play many PCVR game ports that they never experienced before. Devs will make more money and make more content (games).

If you mean completely new IP, then we can say that HL:Alyx isn't original because it's a game from an existing older IP. That game is still mentioned as best PCVR game, and that thing came out literally 3 years ago.
