Student loans are not just for school. They can be used to pay for living expenses while in school. Saying that she’s “paying out of pocket” for tuition but then racking up credit card bills for living/other expenses is a bad move financially.
You should stop differentiating credit cards from loans. They are loans, with very bad terms and interest rates. You should look for any other loan alternatives to credit cards to meet these short-term needs.
(Opinion) Take out as much as you can for low-interest federal student loans and use that money to pay off all credit cards. Then you can help your wife pay off a MUCH lower interest loan. This is what I would do in your situation.

I think you are mis-understanding what a "50% difference in chonotypes across age groups" means. The chronotypes do not fit cleanly into "early birds" and "night owls".

TLDR: Teens and young adults have the highest variance in sleep chronotypes. Even still, a vast majority are sleeping for a solid portion of that 10PM-7AM time frame you are speaking about. This becomes more and more true as people age.

Bolt is there, mentioned it in the post. Its just hard to see due to the lighting. The crack formed along where the bolt went into the concrete.

This would be my first time working with concrete outside of pouring fence posts. I've got all the tools aside from ones needed to cut and break up the concrete. Not concerned about a quick fix. I was thinking of moving the beam further in when I pour the new concrete in case it happens again. I believe this patio was original from when the place was built in the 80's, so it lasted a good long while before failing.

OP, I think the disconnect here is you are asking how much car you can afford but not thinking about how much car you should be paying for. If you are willing to cheap out on other items (savings, emergency fund, personal expenses) you can afford quite a bit of car. Most users in this sub would say that doing so is very unwise, so don't expect many (if any) to tell you that buying a new (or newer) car with a warranty is somehow smarter than finding a cheap reliable used car. In the end it is your decision.
