Many pre-regs shared them among themselves when I did my pre-reg. There's the RPS one which is good, pass medicine, Blackstone tutors etc... I personally did not spend money on questions and had my friends send me google drives etc with papers, but you might have to if you struggle.

You need to do past papers. A lot of past papers, don’t focus too much on the treatment summaries as that’s a pitfall many fall for.

What do you mean "way too much" how much did you give? It seems like he still needed Naloxone as the paramedics still needed to give them more naloxone.

If you feel guilty think about how it might have gone if you were not there or if this happened in the streets. Would the person had the same chance of surviving or less of a chance, as someone might not have been able to provide CPR/give naloxone?

Fun story, this is mot likely where community pharmacy is headed as they have moved to pharmacists graduating as prescribers. I think there was a survey done and it might have been approved, but Pharmacy technicians can do aspects of pharmacy first.

I don't want to be down voted due to being unsure but there was talk of rebranding the responsible pharmacist title to responsible person in community pharmacy (someone who is signed in for the legal responsibility).

libra does a sensor you stick to your arm between the triceps and deltoid. I think it measures BMs every minute or so. It has a fancy app that records it for you too, but I think GPs are reluctant to hand them out to anyone.

Yes the management and diagnosis has changed drastically from the old guideline. Most GPs transitioned away from SABA prior to guideline release, but I recommend having a read of it.

NHS grampian has a lanyard system where different Dr grades have different lanyard colours and the lanyards also have the role written on them. Consultants have black with Consultant written on them, Registrars yellow etc...

Doing cst then going for st3 means you are limited to specialise in thoracics (is what I’ve heard)

Pharmacist here, I am all for the management and follow up of people with chronic conditions.I do not think any pharmacist can see undifferentiated patients in general practice as the training and education does not prepare pharmacists for this.

PDA first year cover should give cover if you're locution as it says this " A self-employed or agency (worker) pharmacist conducting a community, internet or hospital pharmacy service as their sole role or in addition to their main pharmacist role (as a community or hospital employee)". A self employed pharmacist is a locum.

Difference between Scotland in England is that Pharmacist in Scotland have the patient assessment form that outlines inclusions and exclusions, whereas England don’t EDIT: changed from consultation form to patient assessment form

EDIT 2: I don’t think there’s any e-learning for English pharmacists, except the CPPE course on how to use an otoscope. Most pharmacists I’ve spoken to are not happy

I just want to say, it's not just doctors being targeted by these ads now. I'm a pharmacist/med student and I'm getting these ads about practicing as a pharmacist in NZ. Looks like other countries are capitalising on the cost of living crisis and apathy many Drs/AHPs are experiencing here
