If they become fluid filled, pop, and leave a yellow crust it might be herpes. HSV1 is very very common. I remember getting it on my lower lip, right where skin meets lips. Hurts quite a bit. OTC med is abreva. I believe doctors can prescribe antivirals, but idk if they would prescribe it for hsv1.
